1、教学目标：
1. 能够理解并掌握am, is, are与人称代词的搭配；
2. 能够完成 Let’s check板块的听录音圈单词和写句子的活动；
3. 能够结合图片理解故事内容，并能朗读故事。
二、教学重难点：
重点：
理解并掌握am, I, are与人称代词的搭配。
难点：
1. 正确使用be动词am, is, are完成相关习题；
2. 理解并朗读故事。

4、教学过程：
（一）Warm-up (Revision)
1. 师生唱本单元的歌曲。
2. 教师课件呈现老师图片，让学生用本单元所学的语言知识描述人物特征。如：Who is the Chinese teacher What’s he/she like
（二）Presentation and practice
1. Let’s check
(1) 教师呈现Let’s check板块，让学生阅读题目中的句子，了解题目。
(2) 教师播放对话，学生听后判断并选择单词。
(3) 学生回答问题，教师核对答案。
(4) 教师问：What are the people like 然后再次播放对话，学生听对话并回答问题。
(5) 教师核对答案，并出示听力文本，让学生朗读文本。
2. Let’s wrap it up
(1) 教师课件呈现三个句子，分别使用am, is, are. 请学生朗读后并观察句子，尝试总结am, is, are 的搭配规则。
(2) 教师板书归类：he/she ---is they---are
(3) 教师呈现人称代词I, we, you, it，请学生思考它们分别与哪个be动词搭配，并完成Think and match的练习。
(4) 师生校对答案并进一步了解搭配规则。
(5) 学生完成Choose and write 练习并核对答案。
3. Story time
(1) 教师呈现Zoom和Zip的图片，说：Zoom and Zip will have a new PE teacher today. What’s the new PE teacher like Can you guess 教师写出学生猜测中的关键词。
(2) 教师说：What does zoom think 然后播放故事图片1和2的动画，学生观看一遍后回答。
(3) 教师问：Is the PE teacher really tall and strong 教师先请学生发表看法，再播放图片3-6的动画，学生观看后回答。教师追问：Who is the new PE teacher What’s he like Can he play football well 学生回答后教师可以总结说：The rabbit is very thin and short, but he is a good football player.
(三) Consolidation and extension
(1) 教师请学生描述自己班级中外貌与特长不是很一致的同学，渗透不能以貌取人的观念。
(2) 教师播放完整故事动画，学生分角色练习朗读故事并表演故事。
(四) Sum-up
教师带着学生总结be动词的搭配规则，以及如何用本单元语言描述人物的性格和外貌特征。
（五）Homework
正确流利的跟读和朗读小故事。
