单元教学目标
(一)
1.词汇:复习以下各类单词。
教室物品设施:classroom, window, blackboard, light, picture, door, teacher’s desk, computer, fan, wall, floor.
书本、文具等:schoolbag, maths book, English book, Chinese book, storybook, notebook.
描述他人:strong,friendly,quiet, hair, shoe, glasses.
2. 句型结构:能听懂、会说、认读1—3单元的核心句型。
3. 字母与语音:复习1-3单元中a, i, o在开音节中的发音。
(二)
1. 能够运用1—3单元中有关教室物品设施、书本文具及描述他人性格、外貌、穿着的单词或词语。
3. 能够在情景中运用句型What’s in your... 询问并回答某处有什么物品;能够在情景中运用句型Where is... It’s in/on/under/near the...询问并回答物品的位置。
4. 能够在情景中运用句型介绍朋友的姓名、性格、外貌、穿着等,如:What’s his/her name His/Her name is... He’s/She’s... He/She has...
5. 能够读出符合发音规则的单词;并能根据发音拼写出符合发音规则的单词。
(三)
1. 能够体会同学之间互帮互助的友谊,加强人际交往的能力。
2. 能够在游戏闯关的活动中,提高语言学习的积极性,增强灵活运用语言的能力。
单元教材、学情分析
本单元是义务教育人教版(PEP)小学英语教科书四年级上册复习一。这是一个针对前三个单元的重点句型和重点词汇设计的综合复习单元,共分三个课时。
第一课时为对话阅读活动,在对话中,复习到了第一单元中发出提议的句式:Let me... 第二单元中讨论书包中的教材名称的句式:What’s in your schoolbag 以及第三单元中询问人身份及描述人物特征的句式。学生在学习对话的同时,可以复习前边学过的内容,提高自己的综合表达能力。
第二课时在教学中需要让学生多读多感受字母的发音,从而发现发音规律,完成题目要求。复习元音字母在开音节里的发音。在教学中可以以练习绕口令的方式让学生快乐地学习。
第三课时复习了第三单元如何描述人物特征的内容。Play a game部分为一个比赛登山的游戏。包括了前三个单元中的五个重点问句。以游戏的方式练习了前三个单元中的重点问句。
四年级的孩子生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维。在本单元的教学中,要以话题为中心,创设真实或虚拟的语言情境来复现、梳理、归纳知识,运用情景创设法、游戏教学法、多媒体辅助教学法、小组合作学习法等帮助学生听说、认读所学内容,达到巩固、迁移和提高综合语言运用能力的目标。
第1课时
Read aloud
一、教学目标
1.能够通过学习对话复习巩固What’s in it Who’s your friend What’s her name 等句型,并能回答。
2.能够理解对话大意.,能够正确朗读对话,能够和他人合作表演对话。
3.能运用正确的语音语调朗读对话,能够理解并正确运用1—3单元中的重点句式。
4.能够体会同学之间互帮互助的友谊,加强人际交往的能力。
二、教学重难点

能够根据具体的情境选择相应的句子进行恰当的交流。
三、教学准备
1. 多媒体课件。
2. 人物图卡或头饰、前三单元的重点单词词卡。
四、教学过程
(一)Warming up
1. 播放歌曲Friends学生跟唱或表演唱。
设计意图:本课时对话由Friends这首歌导入课程,与本课时的内容息息相关。在上课伊始,就帮助学生回忆相关内容,为接下来的英语学习做好知识上的准备。同时,以歌曲来热身,可以帮学生放松心情,集中注意力,营造一个良好的英语学习氛围。
2.Free talk 师生进行和朋友有关的对话。
T: I have a good friend.

T: Her/ His name is ... He's tall and strong. He's/She’s ... He/She has ...
3.Guessing game:教师拿出一个书包,与学生谈论其书包。

设计意图:以围绕schoolbag进行的自由对话来帮助学生复习学习过的相关知识,为对话的学习提供语言支持。
(2)Presentation
1.导读,引出故事。带着问题看故事图片,交代人物和地点。
PPT呈现Chen Jie和John的图片。
T: Look at the picture. Who are they Where are they Look at John’s schoolbag. What colour is his schoolbag
根据看到的故事内容回答问题。再提出新的问题,吸引学生认真观看、读故事。
T: Is John’s schoolbag heavy What is in John’s schoolbag Let’s watch the story and find the answer.
设计意图:引起学生阅读的兴趣,让学生学会带着问题去听、去读,培养他们认真倾听和阅读的习惯。
2.观看视频,处理重点句子What’s in it An...
教师让学生看图,T:Look, Chen Jie wants to help John. Why does Chen Jie want to help John 带着问题观看视频,学生回答:John’s bag is heavy.
T;What’s in it Let’s watch and find the answers. 观看视频后,填空后找学生来读。注意语音语调。
3.第二次观看视频,PPT呈现对话第三幅图。
T: John has so many story-books. Are they all John’s
观看视频,讨论故事内容,引导学生认真观察、思考,找到答案They’re John’s friend’s story-books.
教师点拨名词所有格的学习。

设计意图:通过跟读来使学生掌握对话的正确读音。自由读及分角色读课文,使学生在不同方式的读的活动中熟悉、巩固重点句式,内化语言,提高自己的综合语言运用能力。
4.Challenge your memory
PPT呈现不完整的对话,让学生根据记忆补全对话;
5.讨论:请学生评价故事中出现的人物,说出自己的看法。

设计意图:让学生根据故事中人物的表现来说出自己的评价,既锻炼学生们的判断评价能力,又为他们提供机会来练习如何正确地描述他人的性格。
6.问答比赛,两个小组同时进行问答,比一比哪组进行得又快又好。

设计意图:以比赛的形式来练习重点句式的问答。这既可以帮助学生复习相关知识,也可以激发学生的学习兴趣,使原本枯燥的操练变得有意思起来。
7.猜朋友。请一个学生介绍自己班里的朋友,其他学生猜一猜是谁并说出其名字。

设计意图:通过老师的示范,引导学生来描述自己朋友的外貌、性格、穿着,以使他人猜出。这既考验了参与介绍同学的口语表达能力,又考验了其他同学能否听懂相关语句,是否具有良好的观察能力。
(四)Summary
播放第三单元B中的歌曲 Friends, 学生边唱边做出拍手、跺脚等相应的动作。

设计意图:以与本课时内容紧密相关的歌曲来结束课程,帮助学生来复习总结再现相关知识。同时这首歌曲调轻快,在唱的同时还有一些动作配合,可以让学生保持愉快的心情来结束课程。
