Project 2 Our friends (Period 1)教案
Ⅰ. Teaching contents:
1. Review vocabularies about hobbies, jobs, weekend activities and subjects.
2. Review key structures:
①What does he/she like doing after school
②What does he/she do
③What subjects does he/she like
④What does he/she do at weekends
Ⅱ. Teaching aims and learning objectives:
By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
1. Use vocabularies about hobbies, jobs, weekend activities and subjects both in speaking and writing;
2. Use structure like “What does he/she like doing after school ” “What does he/she do ” “What subjects does he/she like ” “What does he/she do at weekends ” to talk about their friends;
3. Make an information card about friends and willing to share with classmates.
Ⅲ. Focus of the lesson:
1. Review the vocabularies and key structures;
2. Share friend’s information and make an information card.

T: What’s your hobby What do you usually do at weekends What subject do you like Who’s your friend Who am I
T makes a self introduction. T and Ss can get to know each other.
Step Ⅱ Presentation
T: Today, we are going to talk about Our Friends. (Show title.) Do you want to be my friend I’m so glad to be your friend. First, let’s play a game.
Brain storm.
PPT Shows four topics: hobbies, jobs, subjects, weekend activities. Four Ss in a group choose a topic, thirty seconds to prepare. Then try to say words as many as possible in fifteen seconds.
Know my friends.
T: Let’s meet my friends. Look, the first one is a boy. What do you want to know about him How can you ask
Ss try to think and ask some questions. T writes down on the blackboard.
Ss watch T’s friend’s self introduction then answer questions. Work in pairs.
T: Now, let’s meet another friend. She is a girl. But only one student got her information. Four students in a group. Three ask, one answers.
Make information cards
Ss interview their partners, then finish the information card.
Four students in a group, one of them pick up a card, three ask, one answers.
Step Ⅲ Homework
Read sentences on P88.
Finish the information card after class, next class let’s share.
