能正确理解:They have no legs or arms. One is red and the other
is black.

Step1. Warm up
Show some pictures of animals.
Step2.Pre-reading
1. Game:Brain storm
Watch some pictures of animals about a pet fair:
揭题Our animal friends.
2.教学 words of body parts: legs
T:I will go to the pet fair. What animal friend do I want to take
Guessing game:What is it (PPT出示动物图片)
T:Look at the words and pictures,try to guess what animal is it

Step2. While-reading
Guess time
T:In the story, there are four children. Who are they
Ss:They’re Nancy, Mike, Liu Tao and Su Hai. (板书)
T:They want to go to the pet fair too. What animal friends do they want to take
Let’s listen to the tape and guess.

2Listen and match
T:Let’s listen to the tape and try to find what animal friends do they
have. Open your books, turn to P28, try to finish the match.
Check the answer.
Retell it.

T:When we describe our animal friends, we can write about
their colors, their features and their abilities.

(1) Read and fill.
T: In this way, please read Picture 2 and 3 in pairs, then finish
the form on your paper.
(2) Check the answer.
(3) Read and retell.

Read the whole text.
Retell it. 师示范,生练习和展示。
Enjoy some animal pictures.
T: Animals are our good friends. So we should love them and
protect them.
Step4 Homework
Read and try to retell the story.
Finish “ Think and write” on P28.
Try to introduce your animal friends.
