Police in China's Chengdu city use big data to trace potential contacts of Covid-19 cases
At least 82,000 potential contacts of confirmed Covid-19 cases have been traced, according to a city government in western China, but the use of big data analysis to identify the contacts has sparked mixed feelings.
From last Wednesday, some Chengdu residents (41)________telephone messages saying they had been identified by police as being in the "company of time and space" of confirmed Covid-19 cases. They were asked to report to the authorities and take at least two nucleic acid tests within three days to determine if they were (42)_______with Covid-19.

Where it's unsafe and unjust to bicycle in California
In some communities in California, the simple act of bicycling to work or pedaling around the neighborhood can be filled with risk. There are few if any bike lanes or bike paths to (1)_____ cyclists from speeding cars. The streets may be full of cracks and potholes.

WHO Names New COVID Variant Omicron
The World Health Organization (WHO)on Friday classified the B.1.1.529 variant detected in South Africa as a SARS-CoV-2"variant of concern", saying it may spread more quickly than other forms.
Preliminary evidence suggested there is a(n) (1)_______ risk of reinfection and there had been a "detrimental change in COVID-19 epidemiology", it said in a statement after a closed meeting of independent experts who reviewed the data.

Where it's unsafe and unjust to bicycle in California

WHO Names New COVID Variant Omicron
The World Health Organization (WHO)on Friday classified the B.1.1.529 variant detected in South Africa as a SARS-CoV-2"variant of concern", saying it may spread more quickly than other forms.

林德梅尔补充说，人们应该尽可能戴口罩，避免大型聚会，保持房间通风，保持手部卫生。
世卫组织紧急情况主管迈克·瑞安赞扬南非公共卫生机构接收到了新变种的信号。
但他警告说，尽管一些国家已经建立了这样做的制度，但其他国家的情况往往不清楚。
