第三课时Sound time, Song time& Cartoon time 教学设计
学情分析
经过四年的学习，大部分学生对英语仍然保持着浓厚的兴趣，但有少数学生由于知识容量的增大，学习兴趣可能会开始减退。因此，在教学中应面向全体学生，在激发学生兴趣的同时，扎扎实实地从每个学生抓起。五年级的学生学习比较理性，在以活动为课堂教学的主要形式的同时，要充分发挥任务性教学在高年级的优化作用，设计丰富多彩的教学活动、有效的教学任务。随着“让学引思”理念的践行，在教学中更应发挥孩子的能动性、创造性。同时注意到学生中存在的两极分化，教学内容注意由简到难、循序渐进。充分培养学生的听说读写能力，重视英语作为语言的交际功能。
教学目标
知识目标：
1. 能在适当情景下使用本单元重点单词和句型进行交际。
2. 能熟练运用词组：sing Christmas song, on Christmas Day, look sad, eat us;句型：Merry Christmas! What’s wrong with him 及其回答。
3. 能初步运用和理解字母j在单词中的发音。
4.能会读、会唱歌曲：We wish you a Merry Christmas!
3. 能够理解Cartoon time故事内容，并能生动表演。
能力目标：
1. 能初步运用和理解新语言知识在语篇中的意思。
2. 能读懂cartoon time的幽默之处。
情感目标：
通过对西方文化的涉猎，增加学生对于文化的意识，开拓其视野，增加其对于英语的兴趣。
教学重、难点
重点：比较流畅地朗读对话，并能运用所学对话描述。
难点：绘声绘色的讲述或表演故事。
教学准备
学生准备：圣诞贺卡、自主了解西方圣诞节
教师准备：ppt、圣诞帽、圣诞树
教学流程
Step 1 Warming up
Play a game:Non-stop talking
Say some words,phrases and sentences about Christmas one by one.

Step 2 Presentation & Consolidation
T:Someone has lessons at Christmas and someone goes shopping, never mind, let’s have a Christmas party today, OK
S:Ok.
T:Here are the programs of the Christmas party, let’s say a rhyme first.
Sound time
T:Our friend is preparing for the Christmas, but he has some troubles, what can you see
出示jacket, jump, juice,学生自读，体会这些单词中字母j的发音。

Learn the rhyme, read after the tape, clap and say.
