教学内容:
U5What do they do (Grammar time & Fun time)
教学目标:
学生能听懂、会读、会说一些职业名词如:a cook a driver a farmer a nurse
a policeman等
学生能自主总结更多的动词第三人称单数如:writes works teaches…的语法规律。
学生能自主总结出询问别人职业的句子及回答,并在真实情境中运用What do you do What does he/she do I’m/He’s/She’s…句式。
学生能体会到平凡职业也可以做得不平凡的情感。
教学重点:
创设真实情境,帮助学生描述一些职业名词如:policewoman nurse
cook等.
创设真实情境,帮助学生运用What do you do What does his/her… do I’m/He’s/She’s…句式询问父母或他人的职业并做回答。
教学难点:
突破What do….do 及What does….do 使用时与人称的关联。
突破动词+s/es的变化规律。

一、激趣善疑
Step1 Greeting
T:Ok boys and girls, today I’m your new teacher, you can call me Miss 4. Let’s greet with each other. Before our class, let’s look at today’s learning aims.
Step2Enjoy a song
T:First let’s enjoy a song, please follow me and sing together.
Boys and girls, you are good singers, so what do you do
Ss :I’m a student.
Can you ask me
Ss: What do you do
T:I’m a teacher.
T:You know I’m a teacher. Teacher is a kind of jobs. What other jobs do you know
S1: a doctor/a writer….
设计意图:借助歌曲揭示主题,并通过提问激活旧知。
Step3 Review the story
T:Here are my families’ jobs. Do you remember Mike and Helen’s parents’ jobs This is Mike. What does Mike’s father do
S1:He’s a teacher. He teaches English.
T:What does Mike’s mother do
S1:She is a writer. She writes stories.
T:Now work in pair, talk about Su Hai’s parents’ jobs.请两组同学回答
设计意图:借助第一课时的复习,顺利导出描述Mike和Helen父母职业的句子,为下面学生寻找规律做铺垫。

Step4 Let’s think
1.Give students some example sentences to discuss “Why do verbs change ”
2.Give students more verbs, and guide students conclude the changes of verbs.
T:Boys and girls, look at these verbs: teaches, writes, helps, makes….Why do these verbs change Discuss in two and talk about this question.
Ss:前面的主语是第三人称单数。
T:Yes you are right. The subject is “third person singular”, right So the verbs change. But I don’t know: When add “s”, when add “es”, at the end of verbs To solve this question, I have two tasks. Can you help me to finish them
Ss:Yes.
Task1:Discuss in groups, put apples on the right tree.
S1:go/help/teach/drive/make/push/fix.

Task2:Look at these verbs, conclude rule of verb’s change.
S:一般情况+s, 以o ch sh x结尾+es

Step7 Fun time
T:Now boys and girls, you know how to ask and answer jobs, let’s play a game. Let’s play a game. Look here are some people and jobs. I make them into cards. I need some students to help me! 将卡片贴在黑板上邀请学生共同示范。Who picks the person card, who asks first,OK!
Now it’s your turn, work in 6 and play the game.
设计意图:通过游戏教学增加趣味性,更能进一步帮助学生体会语法的意义和用法。

Do a survey of your other relatives’ jobs.
