Analysis of teaching material:
广告类阅读是近几年高考英语阅读理解最常考的题材,内容主要涉及的是与人们生活息息相关的信息,如产品宣传、服务介绍、招生招聘等。广告类语篇是说明文的一种,该类语篇主要提供产品、服务等方面的说明性信息,这些信息包括:时间、事件、方式、步骤、价格、联系方式(地址、电话、电子信箱、传真)等。按广告类语篇的表述方式,可以将其分为文字类,表格类,图表海报类三个类别。广告类语篇侧重于考查考生阅读的速度,准确细节信息和把握和主旨大意能力。其命题方式以细节理解和推理判断题为主,并有适量的主旨理解题。广告类语篇阅读中的细节理解和推理判断题细节推断题所考查的面非常广,有的涉及到时间、距离、次数、数量等数字的计算;有的涉及到正误信息的判断,如联系方式的选择、服务方式的选择等;还有的则涉及到对事实、原因、结果、目的等的设问。主旨理解题主要考查广告语篇的的内容、目的、意图等。
Analysis of students:
授课班级的学生是二级达标学校高三平行班的学生。他们渴望获得学习成功的喜悦,希望在英语学习上取得更大的进步。学生的英语基础比较薄弱,词汇储备量少,阅读能力滞后,缺乏必要的方法和技巧,影响了阅读的效率和速度。
Teaching and learning aims:
通过本节课的学习,学生能够了解广告类文章的特点,掌握此类文章的阅读方法和技巧,在阅读实践中不断训练和提高阅读的速度和准确率。在教师的指导下,学生能够不断增强阅读的信心,获得阅读成功的满足感,从而形成阅读的期待。学生通过合作学习,选择合适的方法,提高解决实际问题的能力。

Teaching Procedures:
Step 1. Leading-in
Students are encouraged to talk about the following questions:
Is everything important 2. How do you deal with the new words or phrases that you meet while reading
【Purpose】Enable students to pay attention to the practical problems and seek for proper solutions.
Step 2. Thread
In this period, we are going to learn about the characteristics of advertising articles. Then, you are going to apply the three-step procedures to practice. While reading, do remember not to go through the whole passage word for word. You can find a short cut by using the proper skills.
一、characteristics
1. 标题醒目,重点突出,条理清楚。
2. “三多” :一是人名、地名、专有名词多;二是生词多;三是缩略词、省略句多。
3. 侧重考查阅读速度,以细节理解和推理判断题为主。
4. 难度中等偏易,属于基础题,但在考场紧张的氛围下,容易犯低级错误。
5. 数字题,有时需要计算。答题要认真细致。
二、Procedures
1: 快速略读。标题、首段、黑体和大写。弄清 其基本结构和主题。
2: 阅读题干,快速定位。
3: 查读确定答案。分析对比,找到证据。
Step3. Transition :
The typical advertising articles.
Step4. Read the texts and finish tasks.
Students are required to analyze the structure and find out the main points under the guidance of the teacher. The reading material is an ordinary advertising article. Students should find out the information as soon as possible.
一看、二抓、三代入
Then the teacher will present three advertising articles. Students should pay attention to the calculating process and synonymous substitutions.同义表达要灵活,细心计算不出错
【Purpose】These tasks intend to help students have a good command of the strategies of reading advertising articles and learn to cooperate with each other.
Step5. Summary
Students are expected to make a summary with the help of the teacher to have a better understanding of the procedures.
Step 6. Practice
Students are required to read several similar advertising articles and try to find out the information which is needed. They are going to apply the strategies into practice.
