Unit 6 In a nature park
一、单元教学目标
1. 能够听、说、读、写本单元单词forest, lake, mountain, hill, river, building, village, house, tree, bridge
2. 能够听、说、认读本单元boating, aren’t, rabbit, high 四个单词。
3. 能够听、说、读、写重点句型：Is there a river in the forest Yes, there is. /No, there isn’t.
Are there any … Yes, there are. /No, there aren’t.
4. 能够在情景中运用句型Is there … Yes, there is. /No, there isn’t. Are there any … Yes, there are. /No, there aren’t. 询问某处是否有某物并回答。
5. 能够理解对话大意，能够按照准确的语音、语调朗读对话。
6. 能够掌握字母组合ou的发音规则，读出符合ou的发音规则的单词，并能够根据发音规则拼写单词。
7. 能够在图片的帮助下正确理解短文，按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读短文，能根据给出的短文完成绘画，描述等题目。
8. 激发学生热爱大自然，保护大自然的情感。
9. 让学生了解一些环保小常识，培养学生的环保意识。
二、单元教材、学情分析
本单元是义务教育人教版小学英语教科书五年级上册的第六单元。主要围绕自然公园和村庄的话题展开，用景物的提问引出A、B、C三个板块的内容。A、B部分呈现两组情景对话、一些重点词汇和一篇阅读小短文等新知识点，C部分是以讲趣味故事形式巩固或延展知识面。
本单元共分七个课时，A、B两部分中的情景对话都是展示重点知识内容的语言环境，Let’s learn 中的重点词汇，让学生们掌握更多的描述景物的名词，丰富学生们的词汇量，提高学生们的灵活表达能力。第五课时的Read and write，Read and match和Let’s check均是巩固重点知识的的精简训练。Story time把刚刚学会的新知识融入到故事情节当中，在令人啼笑的小故事中完成对所学内容的拓展和延伸。
本单元侧重于语言的交流和运用，毕竟是五年级的学生了，他们的兴趣没有低年级学生那么高，但是学生的竞争意识有所增强，学生从知识能力水平上来看，学生们在第五单元已经学会There be 句型的运用，这单元要从单数和复数两个方面的一般疑问句形式去描述景物。教学时可以以重点知识为基本出发点，设计多种不同的活动逐步帮助学生掌握本单元重点，突破学习中的难点做到能运用所学的语言知识点进行灵活的交际。还要充分利用网络资源、图像、自制PPT课件、词卡、人物头饰等等教学工具，为学生们营造更多的游戏活动场景，以小组竞争为手段，激发学生的学习热情，积极参与各种对话活动，提高学习效率。让学生在热爱大自然、保护大自然、保护环境的积极情感中学习。
Unit 6 In a nature park
第一课时
A. Let’s try & Let’s talk
一、教学目标
1. 能听、说、认读单词boating和词组go boating。
2. 能听懂、会说句子“Is there a … ”，“Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.”并运用句型进行问答练习。
3. 能完成Let’s try的听力任务。
4. 带领学生领略大自然之美，激发学生用英语进行交流的欲望。
二、教学重难点
重点：能听懂、会说句子“Is there a … ”，“Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.”并进行问答练习。
难点：知道“go + doing”结构的含义。
三、教学准备
1. 教师准备多媒体课件、录音机和录音带、词卡。
2. 学生准备人物头饰。
四、教学过程
（一）Warming-up
1. Free talk
教师用多媒体课件出示一幅自然公园的图片，师生用句型“Is there a … in the park ”进行对话，如：
T: Is there a river / mountain / hill / … in the park
Ss: Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.
2. 教师出示图片，学生快速说出相应的英语单词并拼读。
（二）Presentation
1. Let’s try的学习
(1) 先让学生读题并观察图片，播放第一遍录音师，学生根据录音内容选词。师生一起核对答案
(2) 播放第二次录音时，学生跟读。
2. Let’s talk的学习
(1) 教师用多媒体课件出示森林公园的图片，说：This is a nature park. What’s in it 引导学生用There is/are ...来回答。There is a forest. There is a lake. Is there a small boat Yes, there is a small boat.
(2) 介绍对话情景
T: Miss White and the children go to the forest. What do they see in the forest Let’s go and see.
(3) 第一次播放教学录音，听音找出What’s in the forest
第二次播放教学录音，学生听完录音后回答下面问题：
Is there a river in the forest
Is there a lake in the forest
Are there any small boats
Answer: No, there isn’t. Yes, there is. Yes, there are.
在处理问题时，结合课文原文，讲解新单词或者句子。
(4) 教师说：There is a lake. There are some small boats. 帮助学生明白词组“go boating”的意思。
第三次播放教学录音，全班学生跟着录音读，提醒学生在跟读的过程中要注意模仿录音中的语音、语调。
(5) 学生拿出人物头饰，同桌合作练习表演对话，然后教师请几对学生上讲台表演，评选出“最佳表演者”，并给予小礼物作为奖励。
(6) Talk about the park with your partner.
请一对学生站起来示范读本部分的对话。
学生同桌合作，仿照示例谈论照片上面有什么。
（三） Consolidation and extension
1. 学生小组内合作，朗读Let’s talk的对话，让学生表演该对话。
2. Talk about the park with your partner用“Is /Are there… ”和“Yes, there is /are. No, there isn’t /aren’t.”师生互问互答
（四） Homework
1. 听读对话，熟练朗读。
2. 尝试替换对话中的词汇，自己编一段对话，或者写几句关于nature park的话。
