单元教材
本节课的内容是五年级第五单元，本单元学习的主题是家具陈设及其位置。这一单元总共设置了A、B、C三个板块的内容。A、B部分呈现两组情景对话、一些重点词汇和一篇阅读小短文等新知识点，C部分是以讲趣味故事形式巩固或延展知识面。有些简单的方位介词学生们在四年级已经接触过，所以同学们比较容易接受新知识，本课重点是让学生能够在情景中运用句型There is … There are …描述某处有事物这样更能贴近生活，让他们了解自己的居住环境，这个与自己的生活息息相关的话题，可以激发学生们的浓厚情趣，让他们有话可说，使他们自然而然地把新的知识点融入到自己的真实生活中，并能很快达到内化的程度。
学情分析
本单元重点在于讨论日常家居物品的摆放位置，想要学好本单元，学生应该对一些常见家居摆设的英文名称、以及用来表示物体间相对位置关系的介词有一定了解。在之前的英语课程里已经学习了简单的方位介词，学生们能够简单用英语句型描述物品的位置，而且教学内容很贴近学生们的生活。大多数同学听、说、读的能力较好，所以本单元上英语课的积极性也很高，只有个别同学状态一般，教师在课堂上给予重点关注，让他们很好地融入到学习中，使他们在有趣的课堂活动中感知语言。
第1课时
A Let’s try& Let’s talk
一、教学目标
1. 知识目标：能够熟练掌握Let`s talk 部分的内容并能在实际情景中灵活运用。
2. 能力目标：能综合运用所学语言介绍房间陈列物。
3. 情感目标：培养学生仔细观察的能力，并学会与他人分享。
二、教学重点难点
重点：掌握“There be”句型，并能角色扮演 Let`s talk 内容。
难点：灵活运用“There be”句型，自如描述房间物品。
三、教学准备
教学课件、录音机
四、 教学过程
（一）Preview
教师首先询问What`s in the classroom 让同学们根据实际情况进行回答
Eg: A: What’s in the classroom
B: There is a blackboard in the classroom.
然后出示几组不同的房间图片
让同学以小组形式用所学的词汇进行描述，并展示给大家。
复习之前关于房间物品的单词、句型引导学生进入本课学习状态
（二）Presentation
1. Let’s try
(1) 安排听力任务
T：Sarah and like are in Zhang Peng`s bedroom. What`s in the room I play the tape and you choose the right picture
(2) 播放录音第一次听录音，先让同学了解大致内容，听完第二次录音时再让同学回答。
听力练习既巩固上一课所学内容，也锻炼了学生口语表达，并能转 Let`s talk学习。
2. Let’s talk
(1) 再次出示卧室图片，让学生同桌用There be 句型讨论卧室里有什么，并对卧室的物品进行描述。
S1 : There is a desk in the room.
S2 : Oh . It`s nice. There is a chair in the room ,too.
(2) There is a photo of Zhang Peng’s room.
Zhang Peng and Sarah are talking about the room.
What are they talking about Let`s listen to the tape and know something about their talking.
听一遍之后让同学们自己说他们在讨论什么，可能有部分同学表达不出来，然后提出问题让同学们带问题再听一次，再听过之后让学生用英语进行回答。
3. Let’s read the talk
(1) T: This time let’s read the dialogue after me. (先由老师领读，学生跟读,带大家读talk,并注意对really、here 这类新授词汇加以强调，并着重带读，再领读两遍。)
(2)T: Let’s read the dialogue with your partner. Give you 3s minutes. I’ll call some groups to read it .(3-4组)Well done!
（三）Pair work
Describe the picture, 展示房间图片让学生用There be句型描述房间物品，但要强调合理安排自己的学习生活。 Then ask some group to show their dialogue. We will find out the best one.
（四）Summary
总结本节课的知识，让学生掌握所学的There be句型描述房间物品，将talk里的句子打算顺序，让找一位同学将句子排列正确，并与同伴将对话展示出来。
这样进一步巩固今天所学内容，并练习了英语对话。这样的练习更能激发学生学习的积极性。
（五） Homework
1．Describe your room .Then make a dialogue about your room.
2．Ask your friends. What is in your room Then make a dialogue about your friends.
