Life is full of beautiful moments. All you have to do is open your eyes and your heart to see them.
The other day, a local primary school was just over, and I found myself behind a school bus as I was driving home. The bus stopped by a house sitting on top of a hill. A little girl, no more than 7 years old, got off the bus and started running quickly toward the house. The smile on her face was quite sweet. I looked up the hill to see where she was going. Her dad was waiting for her. As she got closer, her dad smiled and greeted her with a hug.
My eyes watered a bit as I watched this scene. I remembered all the times when my own children ran into my arms with smiling faces. Every single hug from them was a treasure of joy.
Suddenly, my memory was interrupted when I heard the car’s horn(喇叭) behind me. I saw the school bus quickly pulling away, and started to follow it again. However, this time I did so with a fuller heart than ever before. I took that beautiful moment and stored it safely in my mind, where I knew it would remain forever.

Finally the bus drew up, and the driver shouted, “Come on! Get on quickly!” People all climbed onto the bus.Father was polite and stood aside, so by the time we got on, there had been no seats. We had to stand all the way into town.At last we arrived, cold and tired.

Why not visit Grandfather ” said Father. That was unusual, too.Grandfather lived in the far north, a cold part of the country.Mother told me about it, and I was excited about the visit. “What’s it like in the north ” I asked Father again and again. “It’s very cold,” he said. “We must buy some warm clothes.”
We went from shop to shop, buying shoes, thick socks, scarves and gloves. We had more and more bags to carry. It was late, nearly time to take the bus home.We had one shop to visit.“I suppose I’ll need a coat,” I said. “Then, let’s have a look here.” I saw a beautiful jacket. It was very expensive.I asked, “How about this jacket ” Father nodded. “I think that’s all,” he said.

I overslept this morning and was almost late for work. My clock didn’t go off. How strange! I kept sleeping. When I woke up, it was already 9:00! Luckily, the traffic wasn’t bad, otherwise I’m sure I wouldn’t have made it on time. I didn’t even have time to get a quick breakfast, so I bought a cup of coffee instead. By the time I got to the office, everyone had been there, including my boss. I was in such a rush to get to my desk that I spilt coffee on my white blouse. I walked around all day with this big stain on my front.
Before leaving work, I went to the bathroom and tried to clean myself up. However, it just seemed to make the stain bigger. How embarrassing! Oh, everyone knows I’m a total klutz(笨手笨脚的人). Anyway, I got a lesson—I shouldn’t wear white clothes to go to work.
Other than that, I had a really good day. The weather was nice so I ate lunch outside in the courtyard of our office building. I basked(晒太阳) in the sunshine for my whole hour-long break. I love springtime.
On the way home, I bought some flowers. I hoped they can wash away the bad luck and disappointment of me. But it seemed that it didn’t work. When I got home, I found I had left my keys in my office. I had to return to my office to get my keys.

Wednesday, November 29th
I had an unlucky day today.Everything went wrong.
First, my alarm clock didn’t go off this morning and I was 15 minutes late for the first class. Then, in English class, I didn’t listen to the teacher carefully. She raised a question and asked me to answer it.I had no idea how to answer it! I was embarrassed in front of the whole class. After school, I went to a table tennis competition.I had practiced hard, but I didn’t score any points in the whole competition.I was getting tired and suddenly a ball hit my face and I got hurt.
What an unlucky day!
