Fresh air makes a difference to our health. 新鲜空气对我们的健康有影响。
和difference有关的短语：(1)make some difference 有些作用/影响 (2)make no difference没有作用/影响 (3)make much difference 有很大作用/影响
2.provide v.提供；供给 provide常构成的结构：(1)provide sb.with sth.“给某人提供某物”He provides them with all food and money.他给他们提供所有的食物和钱财。(2)provide sth.for sb.“为某人提供某物”They provided some necessary support for the sufferers.他们为受难者提供了一些必要的援助。
3.offer，provide和supply的辨析 (1)offer 表示主动给别人提供某物，常用于offer sb.sth.或offer sth.to sb.结构。offer to do sth.主动做某事。(2)provide 指有远见，为应付意外、紧急情况等做好充分准备而“供给；提供”，可用于provide sb.with sth.或provide sth.for sb.结构。(3)supply通常指定期“供应”，强调供给或补充所需物品，常用于supply sb.with sth.或supply sth.to sb.结构。【练一练】1）He offered me a glass of wine.他主动给了我一杯酒。
2）She managed to provide her children with food and clothing.她设法使她的孩子有饭吃，有衣穿。3）Our farm supplies the market with fruit and vegetables. 我们的农场为市场提供水果和蔬菜。
4.reach的用法：①达成……，达到…… If your English reaches a high level, it is good for your job. 如果你的英语达到很高的水平，这对你的工作是有好处的。 ②伸手去够 Can you reach your toes with your fingertips 你能用你的手指尖够着你的脚趾吗？③到达(某地) reach somewhere ＝ get to somewhere ＝ arrive in/at somewhere He reached Beijing yesterday. But I didn't pick him up. 他昨天到北京的，但是我没有去接他。④联系reach sb. 联系某人 He can reach the famous man.他可以联系上这位名人。
