探究二: Language Points
1.instead和instead of的辨析 (1)instead 是副词,常用于句首或句末。I don't like singing.I like dancing instead.我不喜欢唱歌,而是喜欢跳舞。(2)instead of 是介词短语,后接名词、代词、动名词或介词短语作宾语,一般位于句中,意为“代替,而不是”。 You should go out to play instead of working indoors.你应该到外边去玩,而不是在屋里工作。
2.It's+adj.+for sb.+to do sth.和It's+adj.+of sb.+to do sth.的辨析
(1)It's+adj.+for sb.+to do sth.对某人来说做某事……这个结构中的形容词常与事物的特征有关,形容词常用:easy,difficult,hard,important,necessary等。It's quite difficult for me to find out who broke the window.对我来说,查明是谁打破了窗户是相当难的。
(2)It's+adj.+of sb.+to do sth.某人做某事……此结构中的形容词常与人的性格特点有关,常用的形容词有:good,kind,nice,clever等。
It's very nice of you to help me find my bike.你帮我找到我的自行车,你真是太好了。
