教学目标
1．能正确理解、朗读Cartoon time中的故事，能读懂其中的趣味之处，能在教师的指导下表演故事。
2．了解英美人和中国人喜爱的体育运动。
3. 教育学生要在周末参加一些有益的活动，尤其是参加体育运动，保持身体健康。
教学重点
1．能正确理解、朗读Cartoon time中的故事，能读懂其中的趣味之处，能在教师的指导下表演故事。
2．了解英美人和中国人喜爱的体育运动。
教学难点
能运用本单元交际用语What do/does...do at weekends 谈论周末活动。
能区分“get out”和“come out”的不同。

Step1. Warming-up（5分钟）
Sing a song: Weekends
【设计意图：用歌曲导入，激发学生兴趣，为周末活动话题讨论做准备】
Brain storm (30’): What can we do at weekends
【设计意图：30秒头脑风暴，打开思维，让学生在短时间内迅速说出周末活动，复习活动类的词，为课堂做准备】
Free talk:
T：We can do so many things at weekends. What about you What do you do at weekends
Teacher’s example(拓展：never)
T：I always play with my children at weekends. I usually visit my parents at weekends. I sometimes do to the cinema. But I never go skating, because I can’t skate.

【设计意图：拓展作文帮助学生结合季节和周末活动让比利的生活变得更丰富。在写作的过程中，学生还需要操练三单表达形式，具有一定的挑战性，因此教师需要做好示范，帮助学生理清思路。】
