一般疑问句的结构及其回答
综 述
用来提出疑问的句子叫疑问句。能够用Yes或者No来回答的疑问句叫一般疑问句，肯定回答用Yes，否定回答用No。例如：
●— Are you a teacher 你是老师吗？
— Yes, I am. /No, I am not. 是的，我是。/不，我不是。
●— Does your mother go shopping on Sunday
你妈妈星期天购物吗？
— Yes, she does. / No, she doesn’t.
是的，她经常去购物。/不，她不经常去购物。
●— Must we go at once 我们必须立刻走吗？
— Yes, we must. / No, we needn’t. 是的，必须走。/不，没有必要。
【注 意】
一般疑问句也可用表示肯定或否定的词来回答，如 certainly(当 然)，surely(当然)，of course(当然)，I think so（我想是的），all right (好吧)，certainly not(当然不), not at all(一点也不), never(从不)，sorry(很抱歉)，not yet(还没有) I’m afraid not(恐怕不)等。

回答技巧
作回答时，先看一般疑问句的助动词和主语，如果主语是人名或多个人名，必须用相对应的人称代词代替(单数用he或she，复数用they)；如果主语是物，要注意单复数，再选用相对应的人称代词代替(单数用it，复数用they)。例如：
●— Is Tom your brother 汤姆是你兄弟吗？
— Yes, he is. /No, he isn’t. 是的，他是。/不，他不是。
●— Are Lily and Lucy twins 丽丽和露西是双胞胎吗？
— Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t. 是的，她们是。/不，她们不是。
●— Are these apples yours 这些苹果是你的吗？
— Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t. 是的，它们是。/不，它们不是。
一些日常交际中的一般疑问句，可以根据不同的句式选用不同的回答方式，根据具体情况选用表示肯定或否定的词、短语或句子来回答，如certainly，sure，of course，all right，no problem，Yes, please，I think so，Yes, I’d love to.等；sorry，never，certainly not，not at all，not yet，I’m sorry，No, thanks，Better not，I’m afraid not等。例如：
●— Would you please open the window 请把窗户打开好吗？
— Certainly/ Sure/ Of course./ I’m sorry. 当然可以。/ 对不起，
●— Would you like a glass of water？你想喝杯水吗？
— Yes, please./ No, thanks. 好的，谢谢。/不，谢谢。
●— Could you help me, please 请问你能帮我吗？
— Sure! / Sorry, I’m afraid not. 当然可以！/ 对不起，恐怕不行。
