教学目标
1、能熟练运用表示顺序的副词 first,next, then, finally
2、通过阅读指导,能正确理解并掌握Cartoon time的内容,较为流畅地朗读语篇内容。
3、能够借助未来教室的功能,通过小组合作,体验到合作学习的快乐。
教学重难点
学生能够结合实际,运用first,next, then, finally来描述一件事情的发展顺序。
学生能够运用正确的语音语调朗读Cartoon time并能复述。
教学过程
Step1 Warm up
Sing a song
Brain storm
设计意图: 通过歌曲导入,符合圣诞节的话题,营造氛围,让学生尽快融入英语课堂,同时顺利的引出Brain storm的关键词Christmas.
Step 2 Revision
Review the words.
T: Now here are some riddles for Christmas. Can you read and guess
S: Read and guess to review the words.
2. Review story time(retell the story).
T: We like Christmas. Mike likes Christmas too. They have a lot of fun at Christmas.
What do they do before Christmas
S: Answer the question according to the phrases.
( Same to review on Christmas Eve, on Christmas Day)
T: Can you say them in order
S: Try to say.
T: Can you retell according to the pictures
S: Work in four and try to retell.
设计意图:通过短语提示让学生回忆每个片段,分三段来回答,有了这个基础后让学生通过图片线索复述课文,小组合作后用随机选号的方式检查合作情况,促使每一位组员都要认真准备,达到人人参与。
Step 3 Presentation
1. T: Different people have different Christmas.
What do you do at Christmas
S: Use “First, next, then, finally” to answer.
T: We can do many things at Christmas.
For example: First, we go shopping. (Show the sentences of Grammar time)
S: Read the sentences together.
T: Here are four words. They are adverbs.
Let’s try to use them. Now a game for you.
First, choose and read. Second, order and say. Finally, do the puzzle.
S: Do it with teacher first, then work in groups.
设计意图: 通过游戏的方式让学生更好的运用这些表示事情发展先后顺序的副词,使原本枯燥的内容不再无趣,学生也更愿意参与到活动中来,最后通过拍照的方式上传拼好的拼图,直观的揭示了答案。
T: We can use the words to play games, we also can use the words to tell a story. Do you want to try First, enjoy a story. Then, summarize it. Finally, tell it in order.
S: Watch the cartoon and try to answer the questions.

设计意图:在Cartoon Time的学习过程中始终围绕first, next, then, finally来展开,最后让学生归纳总结,线索清晰,再让学生发挥想象给故事添加一个结尾,使故事更完整,丰富了五年级学生的口语表达能力。
