单元教学目标:
一、 知识目标
(一)能够听、说、读、写单词和词组:by plane, by train, by taxi, by ship, on foot, by bus, by subway, wait, slow down, go, stop
(二)能够听、说、认读单词和词组:Mrs, early, helmet, must, wear, attention, pay attention to, traffic lights, Munich, Germany, Alaska, sled, fast, ferry, Papa Westray, Scotland
(三)能够听、说、读、写句型:
—How do you come to school —I usually/sometimes/often come on foot.
Don’t go at the light. I must pay attention to the traffic lights.
(四) 能够掌握句式:
How do you+ come/go(to)+地点 你怎么来/去……?
I come/go(to)+地点+交通方式. 我……来/去……
Don’t +动词原形+其他.不要……
主语+must...我们必须……
(五)知道英语句子中的连读现象。
二、能力目标
(一)能够正确使用by plane, by train, by taxi, by ship, on foot, by bus, by subway, wait, slow down, go, stop这些单词和词组讨论或描述交通方式和交通规则。
(二)能够在情境中恰当运用句型:Don’t ..., I/You must...谈论交通规则。
(三)能够在图片的帮助下正确理解并按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读杂志里关于上学交通方式的报道,运用本单元所学核心句型给同伴提出安全出行的建议,同时能仿照范例绘制自己的交通规则海报。
三、情感目标
(一) 了解不同国家学生上学的交通方式。
(二)能够辨认一些常见的交通标志,了解并遵守交通规则。
教学重点:

(二)能够正确使用上述单词和词组讨论或描述交通方式和交通规则。

(四)能够在情境中恰当运用句型:Don’t ..., I/You must...谈论交通规则。
教学难点:
能够在情境中恰当运用四会句型。
教学方法:
任务型教学法、合作学习法、情景交际法、愉快教学法、活动教学法。
单元教材、学情分析:
本单元是人教版英语六年级上册的第二单元,单元的话题是“Ways to go to school”。
本单元通过呈现不同的场景,提供了关于表达交通方式、交通规则的句型。教学中分三个版块:A 部分, B部分和C 部分。A部分包括四会短语和情景对话,共两个课时。第一课时呈现了Mrs Smith和学生们谈论下周三如何去自然公园的场景,引出四会词组和交通方式的句型How do we get there By bus.第二课时呈现Mike, Amy和Mrs Smith 早晨到校后谈话的情景,重点掌握句型How do you come to school I usually/sometimes/often come on foot B部分包括四会单词和词组、情景对话和读和写,共三个课时。第一课时呈现了Mrs Smith 和学生来到公园前,准备过马路的情景, 学习四会单词和三条交通规则。第二课时呈现了吴一凡在学校门口向Mr Jones 打听怎么去医院的对话情景,学会表达遵守交通规则的句型Don’t...,I/You must ...A、B部分重点掌握四会单词、词组和表达交通方式、交通规则的句型。C 部分包括听力测试、语法小结和故事,共一课时。重点是复习本单元所学重点词汇和句型。
在课堂教学中,首先要整体把握本单元的教学内容,教学重难点,然后围绕本单元的主题设计教学。本单元的教学内容和学生的生活息息相关,要充分利用课件、教材、网络资源等方式,引导学生思考、交流,并且为学生创设真实的情境表达和运用所学句型。
本单元所需要掌握的单词的音、形、义非常简单,贴近学生的生活,学生们非常喜欢学,也容易掌握。本单元涉及到的句型中I usually/often/sometime...在五年级上册的教材中已经学过,这个句型的学习对本单元的教学有一定的帮助。
第一课时
Part A Let’s try & Let’s talk
一、教学目标:
(一) 掌握四会句子:How do you come to school Usually, I come on foot.能在情景中正确运用。
(二)能够表述自己以何种方式上学,如:Usually, I come to school by bus.
(三)能够独立完成Let’s try部分的练习。
(四)能灵活运用所学句子进行表达。
(五)教育学生要养成积极、乐观、向上的生活态度。
二、教学重难点:
重点:
听、说、读、写句型How do you come to school Usually/Sometimes, I come by/on...并正确运用频度副词。
突破方法:根据实际情况练说句型,小组间交流探讨,突破重点。
难点:

三、教学准备:
教师准备多媒体课件、单词卡片、图片(交通工具),A. Let’s talk课文情景动画。
四、教学过程:
(一)Step 1:Warm-up
教师将话题引入到学生怎样上学上来,并播放歌曲How do you go to school 学生听并轻声跟唱。
(二)Step 2:Presentation
1. Practice the sentences.
(1)教师由歌曲引出句子:How do you come to school 然后,问学生:How do you come to school 等学生想要回答却不知道如何表达时,教师回答:I come by bus. 帮助学生回答:I come by bus. 然后出示公共汽车的图片,并在出示卡片by bus。
(2)教师拿出自行车图片,自问自答:How do you come to school I come by bike.并出示by bike。教师重复刚才的句子并问学生:What about you 教师引导学生说:I come by bike.
(3)教师出示小汽车的图片,并教读单词car。教师再帮助学生说出完整的句子:I come by car.并出示相应的短语。
(4)教师出示图片,并说:1 come to school on foot.然后问学生:How do you come to school 帮助学生用I come on foot. 来回答。
(5)Teach the words always, usually, often, sometimes and never.
教师出示图片,并说I usually come to school by car. Sometimes I come on foot.学生根据by car 和on foot 在圆形中所占的比例来判断、理解usually 和sometimes 的意思。
出示图片和句子,学生选择正确的频度副词填空。
出示所有频度副词,教师提问How do you come to school?学生利用教师提供的图片回答,并用上频度副词。
(6)教师出示对话框架,学生两人一组进行操练。
2. Let’s try
教师先让学生看问题,然后播放Let’s try部分的录音,学生判断正误,并从听觉上进一步及感知主要句型。需要判断的句子如下:
They are talking about a sports meet.
They will go by bus.
3. Let’s talk
(1)教师播放Let’s talk部分的课文录音。在听录音之前教师让学生带着问题去听录音,学生听后将相关句子补充完整。由于问题包含信息较多,教师提醒学生注意边听边快速画出相关信息和不懂的地方,养成良好习惯。问题如下:
How do Mike, Amy and Mrs Smith come to school
Amy usually comes to school _______.
Sometimes she comes _______.
Mike often comes to school _________.
Mrs Smith usually ______ to school.
Sometimes she comes ______.
(2)学生跟读录音,然后三人一组练习对话。教师请几组学生表演情景对话。
(三)Step 3: Practice and Consolidation
1. 学生小组合作完成来校方式大调查。教师请一位学生配合做示范练习:
S1: How do you come to school
T: I usually/often/sometimes...
2. 学生分组,一个接一个的提问,所有小组成员根据每个同学的回答按教材中的表格形式做好记录。最后教师选几个小组进行统计汇报。汇报方式如下:
Three students usually come to school by bike. Three students sometimes come to school by bus…(教师先示范汇报,然后请学生汇报)
(四)Step 4 :Summary
借助板书回顾今日所学重点知识。
(五)Step 5 :Homework
1. 听课文录音,按照正确的语音、语调朗读课文对话。
2. 编写询问上学方式的小对话,不少于5个英语句子。
3. 预习A Let’s learn中的单词。
