一、教学目标
（一） 能听、说、认读单词on foot, by taxi, by bus, by train, by plane, by ship, by subway并能灵活运用句型“how do we /you get there ”来询问他人的出行方式, 并能用句子“By…”进行回答。
（二）能借助例词尝试拼读单词, 学会分音节拼读和记忆单词。
（三）能积极参与单词拼读, 能够根据实际情况选择最佳出行方式。
二、教学重难点
重点:
（一） 熟悉掌握本课词组on foot, by taxi, by bus, by train, by plane, by ship, by subway。
（二）能够在现实生活中灵活运用句型“how do we /you get there ”来询问他人的出行方式,并能用句子“By…”进行回答,并力求做到语音准确,音调自然。
难点:
能够在现实生活中灵活运用句型“how do we /you get there ”来询问他人的出行方式,并能用句子“By…”进行回答。
三、教学准备
教师准备多媒体课件、复习用单词卡、A. Let’s learn课文情景动画。
四、教学过程
（一）Step 1：Warm-up
1. greeting
2. sing a song
3. 创设情境,复习Unit 1的重点句型,将课前准备的场所单词卡随机发给3位学生,进行如下对话:
T: how can I get to the hospital Who can tell me
S1: First, go straight. Then turn right at the bookstore. Finally, you can see the hospital.
（二）Step 2：Presentation
1. 师生问答：We have many ways to come to school.
How do you come to school
I come by car.
Yes, a lot of students are come on foot. 由此引出单词on foot.
课件出示例词(look, book)提示帮助学生读出新单词。
2. 听课本第15页Let’s learn的课文录音,引出单词by bus.
师生问答：How do John and Sarah get to the nature park
— By bus.
课件出示例词 (up, under) 提示学生读出新单词。
3. 通过比较, 选择最佳出行方式。
PPT出示问题: If I’m late for school, how can I get to school Which way is fastest
出示on foot, by taxi, by bus三幅图片, 引出单词by taxi。
4. PPT出示美国国旗和中国国旗并出示问题。
Q: How do you get to the USA from China
由此进行by plane单词教学。
5. listen and guess 播放火车声音,引出by train.
课件出示例词(rain, straight) 提示帮助学生读出新单词。
6. 出示大城市交通拥堵的图片, 让学生思考哪一种交通方式在大城市是最快捷的绿色环保出行方式。
PPT出示例词(bus, always) 引出单词by subway.
7. 利用与ship有关联的物品, 通过图片九宫格猜一猜这是什么 由此引出by ship.
（三）Step 3： Practice
1. Sharp eyes/ears. 通过快速一闪而过的单词, 图片或者声音, 让学生快速站立起来读出所听所看到的单词。
2. Group work---Write and say
看图, 选择自己喜欢的出发点和目的地, 根据实际情况, 选择合适合理的出行方式, 两人为一组进行如下对话:
问题：How do you get to … from …
回答：交通方式(by train, on foot…).
（四）Step 4：Consolidation
填空题: 如果你打算去这些地方,要计划怎么去才合理呢
1. I will go to Shanghai_________________.
2. I will go to the park near my home____________.
3. I will go to the USA________________.
4. I will go to Heyuan_______________.
（五）Step 5：Summary
1. 询问出行方式的句型:
How do you get to …
How do we get there
2. 出行方式:
on foot, by taxi, by bus, by train, by plane, by ship, by subway.
另外补充学生经常来校的方式是乘坐摩托车:by motorcycle.
（六）Step 6：Homework
1. 想一想, 上网找一找本课学的交通出行方式的特点分别是什么 哪种交通工具最快 哪种交通工具更安全
2. 利用How do you get to … / How do we get there 等句型编写一段新的对话。
3. 抄写P15 Let’s learn的单词。
