一、教学目标
1.能够在图片、实物等媒体的帮助下听、说、认读单词:map，compass，GPS， stars， feature，far，tell，gave， follow。能理解且会用表示方位的介词和介词短语 behind， beside， in front of等来表达某物在某处。
2.通过听说、听做、听读和复述等系列活动，掌握询问某处在哪里并做出相应回答的表达。
3.培养学生运用英语交流和用英语解决实际问题的能力。
二、教学重难点
重点难点
重点:1，能正确流利地朗读并复述课文“ Rohin has GPS!”。进一步掌提问路与指路的问答用语。
2.能正确书写map， compass等与导航相关的单词。
难点:用英语准确询问并回答地点的方位。能准确并流利地交流。

1.阅读前
(1)教师呈现本部分的四幅插图。

学生讨论后、教师带读这四个单词。
学生根据自己已有知识，将四幅图按照使用年代的远近排序。
(2)教师引导学生看图，进行读前预测。
T: Wu Yifan and his friends wanted to go to the Italian restaurant. How did they go there What places did they pass by

(1)第一次阅读
快速阅读，用横线画出经过的地点。
(2)第二次阅读
细读课文，完成第9页的读写题。

Fill in the blanks, Then retell the story.
(3)第三次阅读
Listen and follow the tape.模仿正确的语音、语调。
3.阅读后
（1）学生听录音，按课文呈现的顺序排序。
(2)学生四人一组，根据课文信息，制作吴一凡去餐馆的线路图。比比哪组的图文漂亮、准确。
(3)师生完成 Tips for pronunciation板块的练习。
播放 Listen，look and say 的录音，并解释英语句子有不同的声调:一般情况下，肯定句、特殊疑问句用降调，一般疑问句用升调，并引出祈使句在这里是礼貌请求，语气要婉转，用升调。

三、Consolidation
Play a game: Where is it
游戏规则:将全班分为三组，第一组地点;第二组方位介词或短语；第三组地点。每人按自己小组分的任务写一个相应的词或短语，准备好以后，每组派出一个代表，教师从每组选一个词或短语组成句子。如: The hospital is behind the school.
