单元教材、学情分析
本单元主要学习“问路”和“指点方向”这两个话题。这一单元分主情景图，A，B和C四个部分，分别是:主情景图是对本单元所学知识的总体预览，学生对本单元将要学习的知识有个初步的了解。
A部分主要包含 Let 's try，Let 's talk， Let's learn， Make a map and talk四个环节。主要学习地点名词以及关于问路句型，综合训练学生的听、说、读、写能力。
B部分主要包含 Let ’s try， Let’s talk， Let’s learn， Be a tour guide， Read and write， Let ’s check， Let ’s wrap it up七个环节。主要学习指点方向的话题，内容由单词到句子再到短文，遵循了由浅入深的原则。
C部分只有 Story time一个环节。主要在学习A，B部分的基础上进行拓展，综合前面所学的知识了解故事内容。
小学六年级的学生通过三年的英语学习，在听、说、读、写等方面都有了很大提高，并且能在教师的指导好地完成活动，达到既定的目标。但是他们还不能很好地控制情绪，集中注意力，这就需要教师在活动过程中成为教学活动的组织者、学习知识的指导者、学生学习的合作者、学习过程的评价者、问题情境的创设者，运用呈操练、交际等活动，发展学生的综合语言运用能力。
第一课时
A Let’s try&Let’s talk
一、教学目标
1.能读懂题目要求，学会听前预测要听的重点内容;能运用基本听力技巧完成本部分的听力任务。
2.能够理解对话大意;能够按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读对话;能够在任务情景中运用句型 Where is the.. It’s….交流场所的方位;能运用礼貌用语寻求他人的帮助。
3.培养学生乐于助人的品质。
二、教学重难点
1.句子 Where is the museum 以及对其的回答“It’s near the…”
2.一般疑问句“ Is there a hospital near here ”的询问和回答.
三、教学准备
教师自制课件, 学生自制单词卡片等等。
四、教学过程
一、热身
1. Sing the song. [Where is the hospital]
2. Look and say.教师利用手势帮学生复习near、 in front of 、behind、beside等词语。
二、呈现
（一）讨论主情景图
主情景图导入话题，引导学生了解本单元的主要学习内容。
教师利用课件展示主情景图，引导学生进行谈论，并初步接触主情景图的场所名称。

（二）Let’s try
教师利用课件展示第4页图片。
T: What are they doing now
They are looking at some robots. Where are they now？
Listen and answer the question here.
2.教师组织学生听前预测,教师提示学生选项中的单词是听的过程中尤其需要注意的核心词。
3.教师播放录音，引导学生根据听到的信息完成教材中的练习并核对答案。
（二）Let’s talk
(1)教师出示课件，Wu Yifan and Robin are looking at the robots in the museum.
Wu Yifan has something to do. What does he want to do
(2)教师呈现完整对话，学生整体感知对话并回答问题。
学生带着问题获取核心信息。
听第一遍后完成选择题。
听第二遍后回答问题。（检査学生对文本的理解。）
Practice 操练Where is... It’s ...句型。
Let’s try. 练习使用want to do sth.短语。
（三）巩固与拓展
(1)学生打开教材自主阅读，并提出不懂的问题。师生讨论，解释说明。
(2)教师播放对话录音，组织学生跟读，引导学生想象图中的男士见到 Robin开口说话时的表情和语气。
(3)学生分角色朗读并表演对话。
(4)填空，补全对话。
课件呈现不完整的文本，请学生重构文本。
(5) 教师改编教材第4页谈论本地城市设施所在地的活动。组织学生自已找图片，教师提供必要的语言支持，完成介绍自己家乡的任务。
