一、教学目标
1. 能够读懂Read and write部分的内容，并能完成相关阅读练习。
2. 能够听、说、认、读单词：Munich, Germany, Alaska, Papa Westray, Scotland, sled, ferry, fast.
3. 能够用带有must … Don’t的句子给朋友写建议。
4. 知道单词之间的连读，学会简单的连读。
5. 培养学生良好的阅读习惯，掌握正确的阅读方法，了解不同国家的文化差异和出行方式。
二、教学重难点
重点：
1. 能够读懂短文并能完成相关阅读练习，用带有must、don’t的句子给朋友写建议。
2. 能够正确听、说、认、读单词及短语：Munich, Germany, Alaska，Papa Westray, Scotland, sled, ferry, fast.
难点：
了解不同国家的文化差异；掌握单词之间的连读技巧。

四、教学过程
（一）Warming up
1. Greeting
2. Sing a song “How do you get there ”
3. 出示单词卡片，On foot, by bus/ train/ plane/ ship/ subway/ taxi, stop, wait, slow down等，学生开火车认读。
（二）Presentation
1. 小组内相互讨论：“How do you come to school ”收集小组成员来学校的出行方式，并思考“How many ways can you think of to go to school ”交流讨论结果。
2. 呈现本部分吴一凡的爷爷卧病在床的配图，提问：Who are they What’s wrong with grandpa What does Robin want to do 然后引导学生关注罗宾和爷爷的对话，引入文本主体部分。
3. 接着学生快速浏览文章，说一说文章的主题。
4. 再读文章，回答课后的问题：How many ways to go to school can you find in the text Underline them.
5. 核对答案，并结合图片讲解词组by sled和by ferry，学生跟读。
6. 细读文本，让学生寻找并解决问题：How many places can you find out in the text
7. 然后核对答案,用课件辅助学生学习Munich，Germany, Alaska，Papa Westray，Scotland这些地点名词，并介绍一些相关的城市信息。
8. 让学生自主阅读，思考“为什么这些地方采取这样的上学方式？”和“Does everyone in the text go to school ”。
9. 师生讨论答案,然后让学生对文本里的这些不同地方的孩子们提出出行安全建议。引导学生学习使用You must ... Don’t ...
10. 在学习建议时，带领学生学习语音部分的连读知识。

1. 听录音跟读文本。
2. 在文本里找出有连读规律的地方，用正确的方式读出来。
3. 复述文本。
（四）Consolidation
1. 小组讨论，针对本小组成员上学的交通方式，提出安全建议并制作成海报。
2. 看图聊一聊、写一写其它地方小朋友上学的方式及原因。
3. 阅读关于上学交通方式的另一篇文章，回答问题。
In China, most students go to school by bike or by bus. Some live near their schools. They often walk to school every day. What about the students in other countries Do they go to school by bike In the USA, many students go to school by car or school bus. In Finland and Iceland, it snows a lot. The students in villages far from the school have to go by sled. If it snows heavily, the students can study at home. In Venice, the students go to school by boat. What fun it is!
