一、教学目标
1.能够正确听、说、认读 turn right(left)， go straight， crossing和How can I get there Where is… ”等句型并进行交流。
2.能够听懂、会说、会表演 Let’s learn的内容并在真实场景中运用所学语言进行交流。
3.帮助学生形成用英语交流的习惯，培养学生的英语素养。
二、教学重难点
重点:能够运用“ Where is the. ”和“ How can I get to the… ”询问某地在哪里，并能用“ Turn left/right at… Go straight.”等短语和句型给别人指路。
难点:能运用本课所学的“ Where is the… Turn left...Turn right. Go straight”＂等词句进行正确流利的间答。

多媒体课件、社区地图。
四、教学过程
一、Warming up
1. Free talk.
2.Let’s chant
播放《免子舞)歌曲，学生边表演边唱:
Left, left, right, right, go, turn around, go! go! go!left, left, right, right, go, turn around, go! go! go!( 歌曲的引入，使学生在生动活波的形式中复习巩固left和 right，也为后而将要学习的词组打下基础)
二、presentation
Let’s learn
(1) 教师展示教材中的三幅示意图，提问学生这三幅图的内容。学生说出这些词组后，教师出示 crossing的图片，先让学生猜测词义，再教读单词。
(2) 教师将教材对话改编为听力题。教师呈现词汇部分的插图。
T: Mike wants to go to an Italian restaurant. How can he go there Turn left or turn right Listen.学生听完对话后，在单词对应的四幅图中圈出听到的方向。
三、Consolidation
1. 单词操练活动
(1) 教师出示单词卡，用白纸遮住单词的一部分(开头或者结尾)，学生快速猜测并读出单词。
(2)Simon says
2.Be a tour guide
将全班分为4一6人一组，教师通过图片创设情境，让各个小组完成一次争做小导游的活动.
活动一:认识以下单词。课件播放图片，朗读 Beihai Park, Palace Museum, tour guide, Tian anmen.
活动二:课件呈现场景，猜想在这样的场景下人们都在说些，
Now we are in front of Tian anmen. (Beihai Park. Palace Museum…)
活动三:运用资料库中的语言进行对话。(eg: I’m a tour guide. Can I help you Where is the.. Go straight,.)
