一、教学目标
1.能够通过情境问答理解表示地点和指路时用到的单词、词组和句子的含义,并运用在实际问路和指路的交往当中。
2.能够正确听、说、认读单词: restaurant, Italian, pizza, get ,street,interesting和动词短语: turn right(left),运用“ How can we get to the... Where is… ”等句型进行交流。
3.能够听懂、会说、会表演 let’s talk的内容并在真实场景中运用所学语言进行交流和运用。
4.帮助学生形成用英语交流的习惯,培养学生的英语素养。
二、教学重难点
重点难点
重点:能够运用“ Where is the… ”和“ How can I get to the... ”询问某地在哪里,用所学的指路短语和句型给别人指路。
难点:能运用本课所学的“ How can I get to the... Turn left/right at...等句子进行正确流利的问答。
三、教学准备
多媒体课件、社区地图。
四、教学过程
(一)Warming up
1. Free talk.
T: I' m hungry. Where do we go
S1: Restaurant.
T: Good idea! Let’s go to a restaurant to eat some delicious food,OK
Ss: OK.
2.Let’s chant
Where, where, where is the restaurant
It's next to the bookstore.
Where, where, where is the bookstore
It's near the school.
How. how, how can we get there
Turn left,turn right.
二、presentation
I. Let’s try
(1)T: Wu Yifan is calling Mike, Where do they want to go Where is the place
Listen and tick or cross.
( )1. They want to go to the bookstore.
( )2. The cinema is next to the bookstore.
(2)Check and answer.
2. Let’s talk
(1)听前预测。
教师展示对画插图并介绍对话背景:
T: Wu Yifan and Mike saw an interesting film.
Where do they want to go now Why 然后组织学生回答问题。
(2)Listen and answer
(3)教师出示一幅根据对话内容绘制的(手绘)街区简图,引导学生看图谈图,引出问路句型和回答的词组。Look, the restaurant is there. If I’m here,how can I get there 同时引出turn left/turn right,Dongfang Street等。学生理解后,跟录音朗读。
(4)Listen and follow the tape.
(5)指名朗读对话,并掌握单词、句子读法。
(6)教师组织学生分角色朗读并表演对话.
三、Consolidation
Play and act
将预先准备好的郎局、医院、科学博物馆、商店、书店等的标牌摆在教室里,把教室设计为一个社区,然后进行真实的问路与指路的问答交流。
例如:Sl: I want to go to the pet hospital. Where is it
S2: It's next to the post office.
S3: How can I get there
S2: Turn…
