What did they see there Warm-up Look and describe. The birds are …(sleeping/flying). The tiger is …(running/sleeping). 2.Listen and tick Lead-in There are so many animals in the zoo.What else can you see (monkeys, pandas and an elephant) What are they doing Presentation Listen and answer.(What are they doing ) The pandas are eating bamboo(bam-boo). The monkeys are playing with each other. The elephant is drinking water. （此处引导学生关注be的变化） Listen and repeat. Language points Look at the pandas. T:What are you doing Ss:We are having an English class. Rules: 我用am 你用are, is 跟着他、她、它。 单数名词用is,复数名词都用are。 Wrap-up: 代词be现在分词Iam1. 一般情况下，直接在动词后加－ing 。 2. 动词以不发音的－e结尾，要去e加－ing 。
3. 重读闭音节的动词，双写词尾字母，再加－ing 。
4. 以－ie结尾的动词，把ie变成y再加－ing。 YouareWeTheyHeisSheIt
8.Make sentences(小组合作) Envelope1：name(学生姓名) Envelope2：null(小组合作生成) Envelope3：verb phrases(现在分词短语) Envelope4：others（修饰语等） tips：从1,3,4三个信封中各抽取一张字条，派发给每个组，小组讨论并分析缺失的是哪个be动词，阐明理由，表述准确教师补发对应的be动词助其完成句子。 V.
