2.Aims of abilities
1) 能理解并朗读Story time课文,在老师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。
2) 能就“生日”话题开展同桌间的互相问答。
3) 能用英语简单描述自己的生日。
3.Aims of emotion
通过对文本人文性的解读,让学生从了解生日的date, people, place, activities, feeling五个方面,到“庆祝生日”时满怀感恩之情,充满对生活的热爱和希望,感受英语学习的生活化、生动化和生命化。

Step 1 Warm up

Step 2 Pre-reading
1. 揭题:Birthdays
2. Brain storm
1) Talk about the things about birthdays
2) Talk about the birthday activities according to the Mind map.
Step 3 In reading
1. Su Hai’s birthday
1) 导入文本
Miss Li and her students are talking about birthdays.
Now she is asking Su Hai some questions about her birthday.
2) Listen and find the questions.
3) Read and find Su Hai’s birthday and birthday activities.
4) Read after the tape.
5) Summary: Do Su Hai and Su Yang get surprise on their birthday
They only have a big dinner and get noodles with their family.
