【设计意图】上课伊始,围绕主题的歌曲既能活跃课堂气氛,又能带领学生迅速进入文本。
Step 2. Revision

2.Think and talk

T:When can we use is ,when can we use are,do you know
T: Now talk with your partner.Use these sentences to describe you and your partner.
【设计意图】头脑风暴能迅速吸引学生注意力,激发学生课堂学习兴趣。学生通过通过头脑风暴迅速在脑海里搜罗与关键词my,eye,big同属一类的单词,激活学生旧知,然后教师让学生尝试运用这些词造句,培养学生创造性思维。在问题的驱动下,学生观察思考,推理判断,总结归纳出is和are的不同用法,实现知识意义建构。

【设计意图】阅读后,教师提出复述问题,一方面有利于学生理解巩固课文,另一方面有利于提高学生的语言综合表达能力。朗读后进行表演,培养和保持英语学习兴趣的同时,也让学生更加深刻地理解了故事的内容。

【设计意图】由Bobby和Sam的爱好延伸到机器人,学习卡通前,教师让学生发挥自己的想象,说一说自己心目中机器人的模样。此问题抓住了学生的兴趣点,纷纷运用已学句型进行语言输出。
2.Watch and answer
T:Bobby and Sam go to the robot museum,do you want to have a look
T:Let’s watch the cartoon and then answer the question”What can the robot do ”(学生回答后先点再贴)拓展Can you …?

【设计意图】教师通过设置Bobby和Sam去机器人博物馆这个情景带领学生入情入境。学生带着问题What can the robot do 观看卡通。核对答案后,教师抛出发散性问题,让学生根据自己的生活经验表达What else can the robot do。

【设计意图】教师鼓励学生跟录音读模仿读,引导学生体会人物语气和感彩。朗读之后教师紧扣文本,让学生想象故事的结尾Bobby 和Sam会说的话。学生的思维被瞬间激活,纷纷利用已有的知识经验大胆进行想象。最后学生通过配音和表演深化了对文本的知识的掌握。

【设计意图】教师通过分享与本课句型相似的绘本,深化文本知识内容的同时也拓宽了孩子的阅读面,并且故事本身告诉孩子美与丑的真谛,本课情感教育得到升华。
