教材分析 新标准的教材特点是学生在五六年级已初步完成了四大时态的学习，在五六年级进行更进一步的综合运用练习。本课是以一般现在时为主要的表达方式，描述中英学校间的差异。在描述中既有不同国家校园文化上的差异，又从课文人物玲玲的表达中渗透出她对校园生活的热爱。
学情分析 五年级的学生，语言已经有一定的积累，形象思维能力强，抽象思维能力相对较弱，通过教师的组织，引导学生在活动中体验参与、交流和作，学生间的相互影响可以提升学生的学习兴趣，并在学习过程中养成良好的情感态度观与世界观。
