一、教学目标
1. 能够听、说、读、写单词和词组:factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer。
2. 能够听、说、读、写句型:—What does he do —He is a businessman.
3. 能够运用句型What does ... do He/She’s...谈论职业。
4. 了解英语中职业名称对于不同性别的差异,并进行职业
理想教育。
二、课时重难点
重点:
(1)能够听、说、读、写单词和词组:factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer。
(2)能够听、说、读、写句型:
—What does he do —He is a businessman.
(3)能够运用句型What does ... do He/She’s...谈论职业。
难点:
能够正确使用四个单词和词组谈论职业。

四、教学过程
(一)Warm up
1. Let's sing“What do you want to do ”
2. Guessing game
(1) I teach lessons.
I am a_______.
(课件出示填空句子和教师图片,引导学生猜测职业“teacher”)
(2) 同样的方式,教师课件出示填空句子和教师图片,引导学生猜测职业“cleaner、singer、dancer、driver、writer”。
(二) Presentation
1. Welcome to Career Day! What do you want to...教师播放两段关于职业的视频,引出本课内容。
2. Let's learn
(1) T: It’s Career Day. Zhang Peng and Oliver are talking about their fathers in front of the display board.
观看教学视频,整体感知本课内容。
(2) 教师用课件指向“factory worker工厂工人”并在句子What does she do She is a factory worker.中帮助学生理解含义;进而分步讲解“factory”“ worker”含义,帮助学生切实理解并掌握“factory worker”的含义,做到词不离句,句不离景。
(3) 同理教授“postman邮递员、businessman商人;企业家、police officer警察”且对学生知识延伸,并鼓励学生大胆拼读。
英语中职业名称的性别差异
中文中职业名称没有严格的性别区别,如:警察、医生、司机等,如果要区分的话可在职业名称前加上“男”“女”,如:女警察、男警察等。英语中有些职业名称也没有严格区别,如:doctor,teacher,driver等,但有些职业名称,由于性别不同,单词也会不同,如:男演员叫“actor”,女演员叫“actress”;男警察叫“policeman”,女警察叫“policewoman”;“salesman”指男售货员,“saleswoman”指女售货员,“salesperson”既可以指男售货员,也可以指女售货员;“mailman”指男邮递员,“mail person”一般指女邮递员,而不是“mailwoman”。
2. Let’s play对于刚学完的职业做个小游戏巩固一下,在学中玩,在玩中学,提高学生的记忆效率。
“两分钟记忆职业,然后说出问号背后的职业单词。”
3. Let’s read 教师播放视频,学生跟读,注意模仿视频中的语音、语调,对待学生出现的读音问题要及时纠正。
4. Listen, match and say. 听录音,连线并说一说。
(1) 教师做听前指导:在Career Day这一天,很多孩子们都感受了父母职业的辛劳,Please listen carefully!将Jiao Jie, Ge Nan, Zhou Jia和Li Qian父母的职业进行连线匹配,给学生1分钟读题审题时间。
(2) 播放录音二遍,学生听取关键信息,完成Listen and match练习。
(3) 根据听取的信息,互相说一说,What does Jiao Jie’s mother do She is a/an… 点拨a和an的用法。
(4) 学生参照范例就四人父母的职业进行问答。
(三)Practice
1. Let’s play教师在一名学生背后贴上某职业名称并让他到讲台上背对全体学生。全班用下列句型进行问答:

S1:Am I a …
Ss:Yes/No.
2. 请五名学生上台,想象自己在职业体验日要扮演的职业并做出动作,在老师说出口令“Freeze!”之后,学生立刻停止表演。老师逐个走到学生身旁,用“What does he/she do ”提问,其他学生根据他们的表演用“He/She is…”猜测其职业,猜中得分。
3. 根据图片和上下文补全对话。
4. 试着用图片所示的职业编写一首小歌谣。
(四)Summary

2. 学习了询问他人工作的句型及回答:
