一、教学目标
1. 学生能够听、说、读、写单词:fisherman、scientist、pilot和coach。
2. 能够在语境中正确运用上述单词来谈论人物职业及工作地点。
二、课时重难点
重点:能听、说、读、写上述有关职业和地点的单词,并能运用它们来谈论人物工作的相关信息。
难点:核心句型的灵活运用。
三、教学准备
本课时的音频、视频和教学课件。
四、教学过程
(一)Warm up
1. Let's sing“Job songs”
2. Fast speaking
教师出示各种职业的图片,让学生快速说出英文职业名称。
(二) Presentation
1. Let’s learn
(1) 教师出示Let’s learn整体图片并播放录音,让学生整体感知本课所学内容。
(2) 听力原文
Mike: Hi, Xiao Yu. Who’s that tall man
Xiao Yu: My uncle.
Mike: He’s so big. What does he do
Xiao Yu: He’s a police officer.
Mike: Cool! How does he get to work On foot
Xiao Yu: No. He goes by car. He often takes
me to school on his way to work.
对tall, big, He often takes me to school on his way to work.进行简单讲解。
3. Let’s talk
(1) 教师出示图片,播放Let’s learn录音,整体感知本节课要学知识点。并讲解对话中提及的新词scientist,教读并板书。
(2) 由Oliver和Wu Yifan 的对话引出fisherman,教读并板书。
(3) 同样的方式教授pilot和coach。词不离句,句不离情景。
(4) Look and match对于新学的词汇进行小巩固。
(5) Let’s read,课件出示许多职业英文,新知与旧知的交替复习。
4. Write and discuss
(1) Let's write出示表格,用句型What does he/she do Where does he/she work 引导学生完成表格。
(2) Let's discuss用图片,句子引导学生讨论这四种职业。
(3) T:Can you think of any other jobs Where do those people work
启发学生思考其他职业和工作地点并讨论交流。
(4) 出示许多职业图片,引发学生对职业的深入思考:What do you want to be
