Unit4 I have a pen pal
单元教学目标
知识与能力目标:
1. 能够听、说、读、写单词和词组:dancing, singing. reading stories, playing football, doing kung fu, cooks Chinese food, studies Chinese, does word puzzles, goes hiking,并能够正确使用上述单词或词组谈论或描述自己的兴趣爱好和日常活动。
2. 能够听、说、写句型: What are Peter’s hobbies He likes reading stories. Does he live in Sydney No, he doesn’t. Does he like doing word puzzles and going hiking Yes, he does.并且能够在情景中运用句型谈论他人的爱好与个人信息
3. 知道英语句子中通常需要重读哪些单词,理解并按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读。
情感态度、文化意识、学习策略目标:
1. 了解中式茶和英式茶的饮茶器皿及饮茶习惯。
2. 培养通过了解对方的兴趣爱好结交朋友的意识。
3. 能够看图捕捉主要信息,并根据提示做出听前预测。
4. 能够通读文段,获取主旨大意并能根据其选择合适的标题。
单元教材、学情分析
本单元主要的语言训练是有关业余爱好的英语表达和一般现在时第三人称单数的简单用法,主要句型如下:What’s your hobby I like doing something. Does he/she… Yes, he / she does. No, he / she doesn’t.
六年级的学生对v-ing形式和动词的第三人称单数已经有了一定的基础,因此这部分内容教学相对容易些。但是在情景运用中会存在很多问题,因此课堂上应采用多种不同的方式加以强化练习、记忆,同时还要提示学生运用一些以前学过的动词短语,作一些拓展训练。真正达到语言的综合运用能力。
第1课时
A Let’s try & Let’s talk
一、教学目标
1. 能够在情景中运用句型:What are …’s hobbies He\ She likes …交流兴趣爱好等相关内容。
2. 能够理解对话大意,并能按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读对话。
3. 欣赏中国著名的民歌《茉莉花》
二、教学重难点
重点:能够在情境中运用句型:What are…’s hobbies He\She likes…询问并回答个人的爱好。
难点:能够运用like + v-ing 表达爱好等。
三、教学准备
教材相关的光盘或磁带,有关动词ing的单词卡片等
四、教学过程
(一)Warming up

由Let’s try 自然过渡,接着谈论Peter。出示主图,让学生观察图片,自由表达。然后听录音总结问题答案。
