一、Teaching aims :
(1) Knowledge objects :
The students can speak and understand the sentence “I’m big and tall. I like ... I can get ... where are the ... ”
Ability objects :
The students can use these sentences proficiently “ I’m big and tall. I like ... I can get ... where are the ... ” and act the story in group .
(3) Moral objects :
Tell students learn to share in the daily life and understand “ Happiness is to share ”.
二、Teaching key points :
(1) The students can understand and read the story with the pictures and teacher’s help.
(2) The students can act the story in different roles with correct pronunciation and intonation .
三、Teaching difficulties:
The students can use the sentence “I’m big and tall. I like ... I can get ... where are the ... ” to ask and answer in the special situations and learn to share .
四、Teaching procedure:
Step1: Warm up (T: teacher, S: student)
T greetings to Ss
Sing the song 《 ten little candles 》and do the actions.
Step2: Review
T shows the picture about fruits , review the words “banana, grape, strawberry, apple ” and the plural nouns.
Step3: Presentation
T: Wow , so much fruit .
Ho w many bananas can you see Let’s count .
Ss : One , two ,three ... 13
Review the number “thirteen”.
T: Ho w many grapes can you see Let’s count .
Ss : One , two ,three ... 20
Review the number “twenty”.
T: look, this is a basket ,and it’s empty. But the other basket is full of fruit..
Wow , so much fruit !
T reads the sentence “ so much fruit ! ” , Ss follow.
Ss practice the sentence “ so much fruit ” one by one.
T shows the picture about an elephant and a duck , ask students to compare the two animals .
Ss : The elephant is big and tall , but the duck is short and small.
T : What is the elephant doing
Tell Ss the elephant says “ I can get the bananas.”
T reads the sentence “ I can get the bananas.” Ss follow.
T : What is the duck doing
Tell Ss the duck says “ I can get the strawberries.”
T reads the sentence “ I can get the strawberries.” Ss follow.
T : What is the bird doing
Ss: I can get the grapes.
T reads the sentence “ I can get the grapes ” Ss follow.
T : Let’s look at this picture , what are they doing
Do you want to know
OK! Let’s watch the video.
T: First, let’s prepare some questions .
1.How many animals can you see
2.How many fruits can you see
3.Who can get(拿到) the apples
4.Who can get the bananas
5.Who can get the grapes
6.Who can get the strawberries
(Watch the video)
T asks Ss to follow the tape .
T asks Ss to answer the questions .
Step4: Practice & Act
T teaches Ss read the story.
Ss talk to partners , and prepare the story in role play.
Ss act the story in group of four .
(S1: elephant, S2:duck,S3:bird , S4:monkey .)
Step5: Consolidation
Review the sentences .
Enjoy some pictures , tell students learn to share in the daily life and understand “ Happiness is to share ”.
Step6 : Evaluation
T makes a summary , and evaluate who is the winner
At last, T give encouragement to all the students.
Step7 : Homework
Write a short composition with the sentences in this class.
