一、教学目标
1. 能够听、说、读、写:feel, sad, angry, happy, worried, afraid.
2. 能够用核心句型:主语+be+形容词表达人物和动物的情绪和心理状态。
二、教学重难点
重点:词汇的认读记忆。
难点:用新学词汇表达情绪和心理状态。

(一)Let’s learn
1. Warming-up播放歌曲 If you are happy. 引出free talk: people have different feelings. When do you feel happy(angry...)
2. Not only people have , but also the animals have feelings.出示第一幅图:look, this is Sarah and her pet. Can you tell me how does Sarah feel And guess : How does her cat feel 引出:Sarah is angry. The cat is afraid. Because maybe the cat broke the fishbowl.(板书:angry Sarah is angry. afraid The cat is afraid. )进行动作表演体会。
3. 出示图二,Look the cat is ill. How does Sarah feel 并且进行一下爱护小动物的情感教育。(板书)进行动作表演体会。
4. 出示图三,The cat is naughty. Look,the cat is in the tree . Can you guess how do the cat and Sarah feel 提示学生可以用汉语回答,教授worried这个词,并且体会The cat is worried 可以倾向“发愁的”释义,Sarah is worried 倾向“担心的”释义。(板书)进行动作表演体会。
5. 出示图四,感受They are happy.(板书)进行动作表演体会。
6. 单词操练
(1) 带读板书的单词和句子,根据字母发音规则纠音,并帮助记忆。
(2) 再次出示四幅图,教师说编号,找不同层次的学生说单个词或者句子。
(3) 教师将单词分解成音节,比如angry 教师说“an”组合的发音,让学生们抢答说出字母组合。
(二) write and say
1. 出示图片,用 What is he doing How does he feel 等相关问句提问,完成口头上的交流。
2. 独立完成书写活动,并进行订正。
3. 制定某一幅图,Can you say more about it 训练孩子们的发散思维和语言组织及表达能力。
(三)总结Summary
询问学生本节课收获,并对应教学目标检测学生掌握情况。
(四)作业Homework
设计不同层次作业,学生选做。
1. Retell this story to your partner.
2. Make a new dialogue about the new words.
