设计主题 学会用定语从句表达自己对某事物或某人的喜好。
1.整体设计思路、指导依据说明
本节课“以人为本”,从音乐入手,把课改理念渗透到教学中,从谈论音乐入手,引导学生学会如何谈论对音乐、书籍、运动及其他的喜好,主要以活动形式进行,激发学生兴趣,突破重点、难点,让学生在“自主、合作”的环境中进行讨论和对知识的表达。师生共同努力营造一个快乐轻松的学习环境。
2.教学背景分析
教学内容分析:本单元以谈论自己喜爱的音乐、书籍、运动等其他事物及喜爱的原因为载体。使学生学会基本的定语从句句型。所学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引导学生运用简单的英语进行交际。本课时是此单元的听读与基础语言运用课。学生情况分析:我校学生大部分来自本县城,但也有少数学生来自农村地区。对英语的学习比较有兴趣,特别是与音乐相关的文化知识,学生更是兴趣浓厚。大部分会积极主动在课堂上进行语言交流,但也有部分学生语言表达能力较弱,所以反应不积极,老师应在课堂上对他们多给予鼓励,多给予引导。
3.教学目标分析
1、知识与技能:使全体学生能基本掌握以that和who引导的定语从句,使大部分学生能用本节的句型进行简单对话来表达自己或别人的偏爱。2、情感:通过不同类型的音乐欣赏及谈论不同音乐、书籍、运动,在一定程度上提高学生的文化素养,同时传授给他们“爱音乐、爱生活”的理念。3、方法:多媒体辅助课(播放不同音乐、图像等,使课堂形象生动,为学生营造一个轻松的学习环境——寓教于乐)。
4.教学重点、难点分析
教学重点:重要词汇及短语:prefer, lyric, gentle, musician, have great lyrics, sing along with, dance to ,different kinds of music, a piece of music重点句型:What kind of music do you like I like music that I can sing along with.We prefer music that has great lyrics.I love singers who write their own music.教学难点:1、that和who引导的定语从句。2、在引导学生进行语言交际的同时,引导学生拓展思路,培养学生的创新思维,提高学生的文化修养。
5.教学过程设计
步骤1:Lead in (6 minutes)1,Listen to the song “as long as you love me”. T: This is my favorite song. Do you like music What kind of music do you like (Show a piece of music on computer) T: What’s the song , do you know Ss: Yes, “Yesterday once more”.T: I like it. I like it because I can sing along with. I like music that I can sing along with.(on the screen) Do you like it 设计意图:首先,以听一首抒情的歌曲开始这节课,让学生心情放松而且愉快。借助图片和音乐创设话题,轻松导出本节课的重点句型。步骤2:The new lesson (8 minutes)1, T: What kind of music do you like (Show some piece of music) I like music that is quiet and gentle. I prefer music that has great lyrics.Ask the students to repeat these important sentences. Pay more attention to the new words and expressions.2, Ask 2 or 3 students to make a conversation with the teacher as models. Then in pairs.3, Act .设计意图: 老师播放几段音乐后,导出新的句型及重点词汇,然后再通过与学生的对话为全班做几个对话示范,然后让学生模仿对话练习并表演,新知识的运用起到巩固作用。步骤3:1a (2 minutes) Show 1a, Read after the teacher about the four sentences.设计意图新语言的输入,为接下来的听力练习降低难度。步骤4:Listening practice (10 minutes) 1,1b (1) Ask the students to read the title, then let them listen to the tape twice and complete 1b.(2) Check the answers.2, 2a,2b listening practice Use the same method to complete 2a,2b.设计意图通过听力练习,引导学生获得处理和使用信息的能力。步骤5:Reading practice (9 minutes)Ask students to look at the listening passage.1,Read after the tapes twice.2,Let the students let these 2 conversations together.3,Put the class into 2 halves for role readers. 4,Role read with your partner about these 2 conversations.设计意图通过简单的朗读,对读练习,让学生熟悉听力材料,并弄明白刚刚做听力练习时没有听懂的地方,以提高学生处理和运用信息的能力。步骤6:Activity (8 minutes)Every 4 students into a group.T: I have many hobbies ,such as music, reading books, watching TV or movies, sports and so on. Can you introduce your favorite for your partners Ss: I love music that…. I like reading books that has interesting story. I love the person who is fun. /…. When the student is introducing, the others write it down. At last , ask some students to speak in class.设计意图通过活动引导学生总结自己的爱好,并了解同伴的爱好,使同学关系更融洽,增进友谊。
6.教学评价设计(2 minutes)
评价内容:Look at the screen. This is new words, expressions and the important sentences that we have learnt in this class. Unit 6 Section A (1a - 2c)1, lyric, gentle, musician, prefer, a piece of music, dance to( music), sing along with (music)2, What kind of music do you like I like music that is quiet and gentle.I prefer music that has great lyrics.Rosa likes music that’s quiet and gentleI love singers who write their own music.1、我能读出这些内容,并明白他们的意思。(3 2 1分值)2、我可以运用这些句子在自己的对话中。(3 2 1分值)3、与同伴的对话练习中,我积极参与并成功完成对话.(3 2 1分值)4、这节课我听力有进步。(3 2 1分值)5、我积极参与小组活动,并为同伴提供了帮助。(3 2 1分值)评价方法: 学生自评(主要目的让学生反思自己在这节课上的表现和所取得的学习效果,从而鞭策自己在下一堂课上更积极表现,从而努力学习。)
