【教学内容】
义务教育教科书《英语》五年级上册 Unit5 What do they do (Story time)
【教学目标】
1.知识目标
① 词汇teacher, teach, write, work, doctor, help, worker, nurse
② 句型及日常交际用语 What does he/she do
He’s/ She’s a teacher/writer/factory/worker/…
2.能力目标
① 学会谈论职业名称和工作内容，训练综合运用语言的能力；
② 通过课堂的翻转，培养自主学习和合作学习的能力。
3.情感目标
通过谈论职业话题，引导学生尊重每一种职业。
【教学重点】
能正确流利地朗读课文，整体理解语篇，并能灵活运用所学句型谈论职业的话题。
【教学难点】
通过课堂观察及时了解学生的不同学习需求，进行个性化指导。
【教学准备】
自主学习任务单、微视频、课件、视频展台、单词卡片
【自主学习任务】
1. 反复听读Unit5 Story time的磁带或光盘，标出朗读符号，能较熟练地朗读单词和课文；
2. 反复观看微视频《如何谈论职业》，能听懂、会说、会读8个职业类单词。能掌握询问他人职业的句型，并了解动词的第三人称单数形式；
3. 阅读理解课文，了解文中各人物的职业内容，完成课本P.50的填空以及自主学习单中的表格。
【教学过程】
Step1 Warming up
1. Listen to the song: 《My father is a doctor.》
2. Answer the question:
What’s the song about
A. Hobbies B. Jobs
3. Answer some questions
There are 4 people in the song. What are their jobs
(1) What does the father do He’s a doctor.
(2) What does the mother do She’s a teacher.
(3) Who’s the farmer The aunt is a farmer.
(4) Who’s the driver The uncle is a driver.
（设计意图：通过歌曲自然导入主题，并通过提问歌曲中的内容检测学生课前自主学习，并教学四个职业名称。）
Step2 Presentation
1. Look at the picture.
T:Su Hai and Mike are also talking about their parents’ jobs.
What do they do (揭题)Let’s learn Unit5.
2. Listen and answer.
What does Mike’s father do He’s a teacher.
What does Mike’s mother do She’s a writer.(教学writer)
What does Su Hai’s father do He’s a doctor.
What does Su Hai’s mother do She’s a factory worker.(教学factory worker)
factory两种发音的教学 In the UK ['f ktri] In the US ['f kt ri]
（设计意图：揭示课题后通过听课文录音回答问题，培养了学生的听说能力。）
3.Read and underline
自读课文，找出四个人物的具体工作内容，直线划出关键句子并且圈出新单词。
4.Group work.
1.)四人小组合作，完成表格。并请一名学生完成黑板上的表格。

2.)Check the answers
师生核对答案，并在核对答案的过程中教学新单词和句型。
（设计意图：学生通过自读文本找出人物职业并通过合作学习完成表格，培养了学生的自主学习能力和合作探究能力。）
5.Find the rule
He teaches English.
He has a lot of students.
She writes stories.
She works at home.
He helps sick people.
She makes sweets.
T：Look at these sentences and the words.Can you find the rule Let’s watch the video on the Internet.让学生找出这些句子的规律。观看泰微课了解动词三单的用法及规律。
Tip: 一般现在时中，当主语为第三人称单数时，后面的动词要加s或es。
（设计意图：让学生找出规律，通过泰微课了解动词的三单现。）
6.Read after the tape.跟读课文。
7.Read in groups.
四人一组,任选一种喜欢的方式读一读。
8. Try to retell.根据黑板关键词复述课文。
（设计意图：通过跟读课文和小组合作朗读培养学生正确的语音语调，根据黑板关键词复述课文帮助学生更好地巩固课文。）
9.Introduce the family members’ jobs.四人小组介绍自己家人的职业。
T:Now it’s time for you to introduce your family members’ jobs.Let me introduce first.教师首先介绍自己家人的职业。学习剩余职业（nurse, policeman和cook）。My mother is a nurse. She helps doctors and sick people. She works in the hospital.
My father is a driver. He drives buses. He works at the bus station.
My husband（丈夫） is a policeman. He helps people. He works at the police station.
My uncle is a cook. He cooks nice food. He works in the restaurant.
（设计意图：教师通过介绍自己家人的职业自然教学剩余的三个职业以及工作内容，并通过小组互相介绍职业运用所学内容。）
Step 5 Conslidation
1. Play a game 《Memory King》
游戏规则：PPT上呈现三个人物的工作信息，同学们在30秒内快速记忆。
比赛分两轮，第一轮:一二两组同学提问，三四两组同学举手抢答。
第二轮:三四两组同学提问，一二两组同学举手抢答。
2.欣赏不同职业图片,让学生感受每份职业的重要性Every job is important.Different jobs make a colorful world.
（设计意图：通过游戏激发学生学习的兴趣，培养学生的合作能力和竞争意识，进一步加深学生对知识的理解和巩固，做到学以致用。）
Step 7 Homework
1. Preview Sound time, Culture time and Cartoon time.
2. Do a survey of Checkout time.
3. Watch the micro-video about jobs.
