教学内容:
Unit 8 Dolls ——Story time
教学目标:
知识目标:
1.能够熟练掌握本单元的单词:hair, eye, nose, mouth, ear, small, big, short, long, king, doll.
2.掌握本课时的重点句子:Her hair is long. Her eyes are big. Her nose and mouth are small. His hair is short. His eyes and nose are small. His mouth is big. His ears are big too.
能力目标:
1.能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词:hair, eye, nose, mouth, ear, small, big, short, long, king, doll.
2.能听懂、会说、会读和会写这一课时学习的日常用语,并能在适当的场合正确运用。
情感目标:通过对新单词的学习,了解我们身体部分区域的名称,学会用这些单词来描写和形容相关的人与物。
教学重难点:
重点:能够熟练掌握本课时的新单词。
难点:能够熟练地把所学单词和句子在适当的场合准确应用。
教学突破:
通过教师展示道具、学生做活动等方式帮助学生掌握新单词。通过让学生阅读课文、教师提问问题,学生进行对话演练并反复诵读的方式帮助学生学习本课时的英语基本用语。因为本单元的主要内容是教会学生描写人物,所以本节课的教学教师一定要引导学生学习好课文中的描写型句子。

教学过程:
Step 1 Free talk
1. Greetings.
2.Enjoy a song《My Eyes Nose Mouth Ears》
T: What have you heard from the song
Step 2 Presentation
Play a game: Draw and guess.
T: Who is this Let’s draw him together. (PPT依次呈现图图的五官类的单词,带读)
(hair, nose, eyes, mouth, ears)
2. Learn new words.
(1) (PPT呈现眼睛)教学 an eye, eyes, 拼读和拼写单词。
T: Before eye, we put “an”, read it. Ss read “an eye” after T.
T: We have two eyes.
(2) (PPT呈现a girl ) 通过箭头指向的两人眼睛,呈现形容词 small,并呈现句型 “His eyes are small”,让学生初步感知这一句型和新单词“his”。带读两遍后呈现small的反义词big,并呈现句型 “ Her eyes are big.” 重读“are”以引起学生的注意。
(3)(PPT呈现图图和另一男孩)教学单词:nose, 教读、带读。用nose 和前面学过的big, small 请学生完成句子:His nose is _____.His ____ is ____.
(4) 同理教学单词:mouth ,呈现句型,造句。His mouth is _____.His ____ is ____.
(5)教学单词:an ear, ears. 造句:His ears are ____.Her ___ are ____.
3. Say a chant: 教师说上句,学生接下句。
Look at his eyes. His eyes are small.
Look at his nose. His nose is small.
Look at his mouth. His mouth is small.
Look at his ears. His ears are big.
Wow, he’s very cute!
4. 揭题 “Dolls”,学习Story time
(1) Watch and answer: Whose dolls are they
学生观看动画,找出提示:Look at our doll. This is our doll.
(2) Listen and choose
T: Let’s know more about their features!
Ss listen to the tape and choose Su Hai and Yang Ling’s doll.
在完成选择的同时新授生词:long , short, 教读和拼写单词。
(3)Let’s describe
学生根据所指箭头分别描述女娃娃的五官特征,教师在黑板上画出来。
(4)Read and underline
T: What does their doll look like
学生自学二分钟后,PPT逐句呈现男娃娃的五官特征。
(5)Let’s describe
学生根据所指箭头分别描述男娃娃的五官特征,教师在黑板上画出来。
T: Look, he’s a king now. 教读单词:king
Step3: Consolidation
Let’s read after the tape.
小组选择一种方式读一读。
Choose and say: Which doll do you like
Step 4: Expansion
Choose and say:
Step 5: Homework
Listen and repeat story time five times . 听读课文5遍.
Try to describe your friend. 试着描述你的朋友。
