Language Points
interesting 是形容词，有主动意味, 指事物本身，意为“有趣的”。当其作表语时，主语通常是物。
The story is very interesting．
这个故事很有趣。
e.g.
（1） interested 也是形容词，有被动意味，意
为“感兴趣的；对……感兴趣”，主语通常是人。
【拓展】
I am interested in English, because I think
it’s very interesting.
我对英语感兴趣，因为我认为它非常有趣。
常用于be interested in sth. / sb. 的结构中，主语一般是人。
e.g.
His main interests are reading and playing the piano.
他的主要兴趣是读书和弹钢琴。
（2） interest 作可数名词时，意为“兴趣”。
也可作不可数名词。
如短语：place of interest 名胜古迹

learn vs. study
study有“研究”之意，侧重于学习过程。
learn意为“学会；学到”，侧重于学习成果。如：
