Part One Analysis of the Teaching Material

This is the fifth lesson of the unit. It’s very important and difficult.From this, Ss can also extend their knowledge.Therefore this lesson is in the important position of the teaching material.

1.Teach the Ss how to be successful language learners.
2.Let the Ss pass “Observation-Imitation-Practice” to study language.
3.Teach the Ss how to master the grammar and how to use it correctly.
Part Four Teaching Procedures I’ll finish the lesson in four steps.
Step1.Lead in
We’ve learned a report about giant pandas.We know they are very lovely.But they are in danger.They may have many problems in the future.What problems Ask Ss to discuss.
Step2. Presentation 1.Show the problems on PPT,let Ss read them.
2.Try to learn the conditional structure by asking Qs such as What will happen if you come to school late
What will happen if you break your favourite toy Write the most interesting answers on the Bb.
3.Write more open ‘If’ - clauses on the Bb and Ss to make the sentences with their own ideas.T can correct the mistakes. 4.Explain the use of the sentence structure ‘if’ to the Ss. Then get them to practice with it.
5.Ask Ss to complete PA1-A3,then check the answers.
补充【Grammar B&C:Step1.Lead-in Review the ‘if’ clause by asking some QS about the story of Xi Wang.Step2.Presentation 1.Let Ss have a dialogue to talk about their favourite wild animal,work in pairs.And ask them to give reasons with‘because’2.Show some sentences with ‘because of’ to give reasons.3.Let Ss make sentences with ‘because&because of’.Then complete the exercises onP67,then check the answers.4.Explain the differences between “because”and “because of” to the Ss,and correct their mistakes.】
Step3. Practice 1..Do the exercises on PPT to get the Ss to grasp the rules and the structures.2.Finish off the exercises in their workbooks.
Step4.Homework 1.Review grammar A&B. 2.Recite the forms on page66-67 in the book.
