Good morning, everyone. I’m ____ .. I’m from ____ . Middle School. Now I’ll say junior Oxford English 8A Unit 4 Vocabulary. I’ll prepare to say the lesson from four parts.
Part One Analysis of the Teaching Material
(一)Status and Function(Teaching contents)
This is the fourth lesson of the unit. The lesson continues to introduce about the vocabulary related to the animals. It’s very easy, but It’s important to master the knowledge. From this, Ss can also extend their vocabulary. Therefore this lesson is in the important position of the teaching material.
(二)Teaching aims and Demands
1.Knowledge objects
(1).To master the names of different animals
(2).To know the importance of protecting wild animals.
2.Ability objects
To be able to make short dialogues about wild animals with their partners.
3. moral objects
To get the Ss to love animals and raise the consciousness of the student's protection of the wild animals.

1.Teach the Ss how to be successful language learners.
2.Let the Ss pass “Observation-Imitation-Practice” to study language.
3.Teach the Ss how to master the vocabulary about the animals and how to describe them.
Part Four Teaching Procedures
I’ll finish the lesson in four steps.
Step1.Lead-in
Show Ss a video about wild animals.Then get Ss talk about their favourite animals.
Step2.Presentation
1.Show more pictures about animals on PPT to learn the new words.
2Ask Ss to complete part A on P63 ,then check the answers.
2.Ask Ss to read them loudly and remember them.Then teacher check the Ss.
3. Ask Ss to describe the animals’ appearance according to the pictures.
Step3. Practice
(1)Show some exercises on PPT, let Ss finish them.
(2)Finish off the their workbooks,then check the answers.
Step4. Homework
Recite all the new words.
