一、教材分析:
本单元话题是谈论周末的活动情况,学生比较感兴趣,前面几个单元学习了一般现在的用法,这对本单元的学习有很大的推进力。
二、学情分析:学生对本节课的话题比较熟悉,感兴趣,在前面几个单元对一般现在时有了一定的了解,已经具有了一些词汇来描述周末的活动,如fly kite,have a picnic,draw pictures, play football等。对本节课的新词汇学生还不会读。
三、教学目标:
1.能听说读一下新词汇:at weekends, visit my grandparents, chat on the Internet, go to the cinema, often, always, sometimes, very much.
2. 能正确地、较熟练地朗读课文。
3. 能用What do you do at weekends 和同坐谈论自己的周末活动。
4. 能用often, always, sometimes, usually介绍自己的周末活动。

Learn the phrase: go to the cinema. T: This is my weekends. That’s all . 三、While-reading(17’) 1.Show the main information of story time (1’) T: boys and girls. You know my weekends. Now let’s know our friends’ weekends. OK Who are they S: Su Hai and Mike. T: What are they doing S1: 谈论周末 T: When is it S: In the afternoon. T: T: Why T: It is in the afternoon. School is over.
