Step One Warming-up and revision
1 Play the tape, enjoy the ABC song and get the students sing together.

Step Two Presentation
1 Bring a box of cards with English names on them( using the new names as many as possible). Everyone choose one name. Then the teacher says, “Hello! My name is Chloe. What’s your name ” Help the students answer “My name is Jim.”
or “I’m Jim”.
Write the dialogue on the Bb, and repeat.
2 Let the students practice:
