Unit 1 The king’s new clothes
第二课时（Grammar time &Fun time）教案
教材分析：
“The king’s new clothes”是译林版英语六上的第一单元。本设计是该单元的第二课时Grammar time &Fun time，重点围绕The king’s new clothes 这一故事中的带有过去式的几个句型让学生了解“be”动词的变化及几个行为动词的规则变化及读音和使用。在学习story time的基础上重新设计故事并表演，培养学生热爱阅读，学习使用英语的良好习惯。
教学目标：
1. 学生掌握动词过去式的简单规则
2. 学生能用一般过去时进行对话和表演
3. 学生能试着谈论过去的经历
教学重难点：
1. 学生掌握动词过去是的规则
2. 学生能用一般过去时进行对话和表演

Step1:Warm up
Greetings
Play game
对story 的四幅图仅出现一个代表性人物或物品，各提问一个问题，在适当追问，完善图片内容，其中追问也适时让学生完成。

Step2:Grammar time
Enjoy the story and complete.（这个填空是要就学生在复习story的动画后能概括出主要内容，这些句子又正好是Grammar time的句子）

呈现 Long long ago ,there was a king. There were a lot of people in the street.
T: What can you find （让学生发现be 动词过去式）
Try to read.
Read and discuss
CAI: 在刚才的两个句子的基础上增加：One day ,two men visited the king.
Please read and discuss about similarities and differences.（尝试概括出be动词和行为动词两种过去式）
Give some examples.

CAI：增加 The king was happy.

T:Try to read and think the characteristics.（引导学生发现be动词变化不规则，行为动词+ed/d）

Picture 2--4 : Take out pictures and direct then act in groups.
Show time .（让学生互相评价）
Step4: Consolidation
Do you know the writer of the story
揭示作者安徒生，并让学生再说出安徒生的其他童话故事，呈现 Ugly Duckling（丑小鸭）。
以绘本形式了解Ugly Duckling（丑小鸭）。
通过对这个绘本简单了解、填空来使用刚刚学习的be动词和行为动词的过去式，进一步巩固今天发现的相关规律。
