1. Knowledge aim: students are able to grasp the meanings and the usage of the four adverbs of frequency: often, sometimes, usually, always and the deformation of the verbs used in the third person singular.
2. Ability aim: to enable students to use ‘What do you/ they do at weekends ’, ’What does he/she do at weekends’ to have a daily communication.
3. Emotion aim: to help students feel the fun of learning English.

Step 1 Warm up
Greetings.
Learning aims:
(1)I can talk about weekend activities.我能谈论周末活动。
(2)I know the usage of the third person singular.我能理解并运用第三人称单数。
(3)I can use “ always”,“usually”,“often” and “sometimes”.我能运用表示频率的单词。
3. Learning tip:always,usually,often和sometimes用来表示某动作或状态发生的频率。
4. Play a game: Words rain.If you see a word or a picture, please read it out. If you see a thunder, please say “Oh, no”!
