学情分析:
学生通过几年的学习,已经掌握了一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写的技能,形成了一定的综合语言运用能力,对英语已经有了持续的兴趣和爱好。本单元的主体主要是圣诞节,是属于西方文化的一部分,而且学生对圣诞节的相关知识在其他科的学习或者生活中有了一定的了解。用孩子的眼光去看待和了解另一个国家的节日,可以让学生们以一种新的途径去学习更多的知识。同时,也将在操练和老师创设的情境中去巩固学到的知识。
单元教材分析:
本单元的主题是“at Christmas”。本单元学习的最终目的是让学生用所学的知识谈论关于圣诞节的话题,掌握用“First…,next…,then…,finally… ”来有序地进行事情的描述。并对本单元的单词“Christmas,buy,present,next,put,pretty,thing,look,stocking,finally,early,turkey,pudding,all”及短语“Christmas tree, Father Christmas, Christmas Eve, wait for, Christmas Day, have a good time”达到掌握并熟练运用的目的。
教学策略:
本单元的知识点较多,特别是单词短语的教学,有的知识点虽然在以往的学习中有所了解和接触,但也只是初步的感知认识,大部分同学仍然需要进行更深入的了解和运用。我根据课文设置的故事情节---圣诞活动,拓展到学生们的现实生活中,马上圣诞节就要到了,说说他们的圣诞愿望,以及他们打算如何进行圣诞活动,把教学重点first, next, then, finally运用进去。我还采用了很多游戏和活动等教学手段来保持学生的学习积极性,这些活动让学生亲自参与、体验、合作,对所学内容能主动练习和实践。

1. 能正确理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读对话。

1. 能了解有关圣诞节的活动。

通过正确理解课文了解圣诞节的相关活动,初步表演对话,并能借助图片和关键词复述课文。

教学评价:
在本节课的设计实施上,打破了阅读课的常规设计思路,做出了两个改变:一是学习方式的改变——由过去主要在老师的带领下去阅读,改为学生基于已有的生活经验和知识体系,通过阅读解决困惑、找到答案和进一步思考;二是阅读策略的改变——由过去仅仅通过文本阅读去学习,改为先从理解和处理可视化信息开始,再推进到文本的阅读和思考,促进学生思维能力的培养。
