教材分析 本课是一篇故事教学,以故事为载体,利用学生对故事的喜爱,激发兴趣;通过学习故事情节,阅读故事内容,表演故事,培养学生自主学习语言理解语篇的能力;通过故事情节的虚构性,发挥学生的发散思维想象能力;透过故事人物和内容,感悟蕴含其中的深刻含义,结合实际生活,引导学生树立正确的人生态度和情感体验。《The king’s new clothes》是一篇家喻户晓更是学生喜爱的寓言故事。作者安徒生借助故事情节,揭露了以皇帝为首的统治阶级是何等虚荣、何等愚蠢。骗子们看出了他们的特点,就提出“凡是愚蠢的人,都看不见这衣服。”他们当然看不见,因为根本就没有什么衣服。但是他们心虚怕人们发现他们的愚蠢,就异口同声地称赞那不存在的衣服是如何美丽,穿在身上是如何漂亮,还要举行一个游行大典,赤身露体,招摇过市,让百姓都来欣赏和诵赞。不幸这个可笑的骗局,被一个天真的小男孩所揭穿。安徒生之所以写这个故事,就是要批判当时社会中这种弄虚作假但极愚蠢的统治者,以及人们的阿谀奉承。本节课在学习这个英文故事的同时,更重要的是通过故事领悟其故事的深刻含义,实现知识技能情感态度价值观的共同推进与提升。教育学生树立正确的人生观和价值观,也就是To be honest children!
教学目标 一、知识目标 (1). 通过听、说、读、演的任务型活动,帮助学生能够正确理解故事,朗读故事,表演故事。 (2). 以故事为载体,通过学习故事情节,阅读故事内容,表演故事,培养学生自主学习语言理解语篇的能力。 (3). 能够根据故事情节复述故事大意,培养语言的综合运用能力。 二、能力目标 (1). 能够掌握阅读的技巧,能够依托故事情节猜测生词的文中含义。 (2). 能够培养学生自主阅读并能正确理解语篇的能力。 三、情感目标 (1). 通过对本课故事的学习,深入挖掘故事所含有的情感因素,使学生能够透过故事人物和情节,感悟蕴含在故事中的深刻道理。 (2). 帮助学生把自己的实际生活与新知联系起来,形成知识与技能的整合,情感态度价值观的提升。通过本课的学习,使学生建立正确的人生观,引导学生做诚实正直的人,不说谎话,勇于说真话。做一个真正聪明的人,不阿谀奉承,不虚伪,不自欺欺人或者欺骗他人。To be honest, Don’t tell lies. 教学重难点 1. 根据故事情节,理解生词 foolish, clever, wear, make clothes的含义,提高依托文本猜词的阅读技巧和能力。 2. 听懂理解故事情节,能正确地理解、掌握故事内容,并能朗读、表演、复述故事。 3.能够透过故事情节和人物特征,感悟故事的深刻含义,结合实际生活,树立正确的人生观价值观。

教学过程 Teaching Procedure I Greeting II Pre- reading 1. Have a funny test . T:At the beginning of the lesson, let’s have a funny test. you’re clever or not . Have a try , OK Look, I have a box. Can you see any chocolate in it Remember this is not a common box. It’s a magic box. Only clever students can see the chocolates in the box. Foolish students can’t see them. Do you know “clever” “foolish” Learn to say : “clever” “foolish” T: Do you want to be clever children or foolish children Can you see the chocolate in the magic box who can see the chocolates Are there any chocolates in the box Ss: No, I can’t see. T: Really Maybe (巧妙设疑,设计Magic box 的心理测试,充满了神秘感,激发了学生的好奇心,引发了学生积极参与学习的内驱力,同时利用Magic box 与 The King’s new clothes 的相同之处,让学生亲身体验类似国王的心理体验,从而引出本课主题,为进一步学习提供了既有趣又赋予悬念的铺垫。) 2 A simple introduction about Anderson and some fairy tales of his. T: Yes, a famous writer from Dan mark. What else stories do you know about his Ss: A little match girl. An ugly duckling. The daughter of the sea…… T: These stories are interesting and we can also learn a lot from them. (背景铺垫介绍作者以及让学生说一说读过这位作者哪些耳熟能详的作品,激活学生已有的知识储备,让学生感知故事发生的时代背景。) III While- reading 1 Listen to the whole story and try to rearrange the story in the right order according to the provided pictures. T: Every pair has got an envelope. There’s a task in it. Please rearrange the story according to the provided pictures. T: Finished Let’s listen and check your answers. And while you’re listening, please underline the new words. (在学习故事开始,以听的方式为学生学习故事开道,通过看图听音,排序,整体感知故事的方法为学生提供独立接触故事的机会,让学生对故事获得一个整体的自己的感知,从而为理解故事大意降低难度。) 2 Find out the characters and things in the story. T:What/How many characters are there in the story Who are they And what is the story about Ss: They’re the king, two cheats, a little boy and common people. The story is about new clothes. (通过整体听故事,帮助学生理出故事线索:the character and the clothes.) 3 Read the first paragraph and learn the new words and phrase“ rich, make cloth, make clothes for…” Ask the students to act as the rich King. T: Who likes new clothes very much Let’s read the first paragraph together. Who is rich The king is very rich What does the king like Ss: The King is very rich and he likes new clothes very much. Act as the King together. T: Who can make new clothes for the King We know the King is very rich, of course he has a lot of new clothes. I think he wants a new and special one. So he says if someone can make such a clothes for him, he will give him much money. Many many people come to his palace and try to make clothes for him. But he doesn’t like anyone. What disappointed he is ! At that time , what happened 4 Read the next two paragraphs and find out the characteristics of the clothes. T: You can read in silence, in roles and read loudly as you like. T: I’m the King. Who can act as the two cheats and try to let me believe you. The teacher and the students act the dialogue. T: What about the clothes. Ss: Clever people can see the clothes. Foolish people can’t see them. T: Does the King believe them Ss: Yes. T: How do you know Ss:” That’s good . Make the new clothes for me .” T: The two cheats go to make the new clothes , and they get a lot of money. How happy they are! Several days later, the new clothes are finished. The two cheats come again. T: Does the King like the clothes Why Ss: Because they are very soft and light. Learn to say soft and light. T: Does the King really like the clothes Why Ss: The king can’t see the clothes. He’s dishonest and vain. He’s afraid that his people think he’s foolish King. Learn to say : dishonest , vain. 5 Read last two paragraphs and tell Ss we should be honest. T: The King is wearing his new clothes and walking in the street. But, What does he hear Listen. T: There are two voices coming from the crowd. What do the common people say What does the little boy say Ss: The people says : Look at the King’s new clothes. They’re beautiful! Ss: The little boy says: Ha ha! The king isn’t wearing any clothes. T: Who is right Why Ss: The boy . Because he is honest and he tells the truth. T: Who is wrong Why Ss: The people. Because they tell lies. They are dishonest and flattered. They want to make the King happy. T: You’re very clever. We should learn from the boy. Try to be honest! 6 Ss read the whole story after the tape and then read in roles. 7 Act out the story.
