1.know the reasons for making the project and the way to make it.
2. grasp the tip of listening- using the context to guess words.

Step I Lead-in
Look at the opening page and have a discussion.
I.What do you know about the place in the photo

3. What can we do to keep the heritage well enough to pass it on to future generations
(设计意图:通过讨论图片内容,激活学生的背景知识,从已知到未知,让学生理解文化遗产是过去人类所创造的,由现代人类继承并传于后世,是把人类的过去、现在和未来联系起来的纽带。保护文化遗产应该从小做起,从自我做起。同时,通过问题的探讨,能唤起学生保护文化遗产的欲望,激发学生探讨文化遗产保护方式的兴趣。)

1. The place in the photo is part of the Great Wall of China. It is made up from different sections of wall over 21,000 kilometres and was built over thousands of years. It runs across the historical northern border of China. It is one of the most famous places in the world and receives millions
of visitors every year.
2. The two children who are looking forward in awe along the wall may mean the cultural heritage should be known to everyone in our country even very little children. It is everyone' s duty to protect the cultural heritage. At the same time, the gate in the picture may represent the

Step II Listening
Activity 1 Warming up
Before listening, show the following pictures to the students to arouse their interest, and then ask them questions.
