教学过程（包括作业设计、板书设计） Step 1 Greeting &Warm up 1. Greeting 2. Sing a song and do some actions together. Step 2 Presentation Ask and answer. Know something about Christmas. Q: When is Christmas Cultural tip: Christmas is a western festival.It is as important as Chinese New Year. Show the pictures and let students say some words about Christmas. Learn the new words and read together. Step 3 Story time 1.Task1: watch the cartoon and tick out the activities. 2.Task2:understand the activities at Christmas (1)listen to the recording of paragraph one and choose Q: First, what do we do Learn the new phrase pattern: “buy sth. for sb.”and let students make sentences with this phrase. (2)Read and underline Read paragraph two together and underline the activities they do in this paragraph. Let students try to retell paragraph2 with the hints on PPT. (3)Listen to the recording of paragraph3 and judge true or false. Sentence1:We put a stocking under our beds. Sentence2: We wait for presents. Let students write down their own wish and send their letters to Father Christmas. (4)Read paragraph four and underline Mike’s family’s activities on Christmas Day 3.Task3 use “first”, “next”, “then” and “finally”and try to retell.
