课题 Unit8 At Christmas
教学目标 知识与技能: 1.能正确理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读对话。 过程与方法: 1.能正确地听、说、读词汇：Christmas tree, Father Christmas, Christmas Eve, wait for, Christmas Day, have a good time 2.初步尝试运用重点句式进行与语篇相关的表达。 情感态度与价值观: 1.能了解有关圣诞节的活动。 2.能初步运用First…Next…Then…Finally…句型来叙述圣诞节活动的先后顺序。
教学重点、难点 教学重点：能正确地理解并朗读对话内容，在教师的引导和帮助下复述课文内容。 教学难点：能初步运用本课所学的词汇和日常用语谈论圣诞节活动。
教具、学具准备 多媒体 自制圣诞卡片
教学过程（包括作业设计、板书设计） Step 1 Greeting &Warm up 1. Greeting 2. Sing a song and do some actions together. Step 2 Presentation Ask and answer. Know something about Christmas. Q: When is Christmas Cultural tip: Christmas is a western festival.It is as important as Chinese New Year. Show the pictures and let students say some words about Christmas. Learn the new words and read together. Step 3 Story time 1.Task1: watch the cartoon and tick out the activities. 2.Task2:understand the activities at Christmas (1)listen to the recording of paragraph one and choose Q: First, what do we do Learn the new phrase pattern: “buy sth. for sb.”and let students make sentences with this phrase. (2)Read and underline Read paragraph two together and underline the activities they do in this paragraph. Let students try to retell paragraph2 with the hints on PPT. (3)Listen to the recording of paragraph3 and judge true or false. Sentence1:We put a stocking under our beds. Sentence2: We wait for presents. Let students write down their own wish and send their letters to Father Christmas. (4)Read paragraph four and underline Mike’s family’s activities on Christmas Day 3.Task3 use “first”, “next”, “then” and “finally”and try to retell. Conclusion: We always have a lot of fun(have a good time) at Christmas. Step 4 Cultural Tidbits Watch a video：催泪圣诞老人和结尾彩蛋 Christmas spirit: Always give and never takes.
