Writing an email about the plan for Chinese festivals.

1. use the phrases given to complete Su Hai's e-mail;
2. write an e-mail to tell friends the plans for Chinese traditional festivals: Chinese
New Year, Dragon Boat festival, Mid-Autumn festival, lantern festival.
3. be a volunteer to spread culture to the world.
Focus of the lesson: Using the phrases given to complete Su Hai's e-mail.

Step1. Plan for the lesson
1. Free talk and guess the plan for the lesson
2. See a show about my Chinese New Year.

Step 2. Plan for Chinese New Year
1. Give a feedback on preview content about Su Hai's e-mail.
2. Report Su Hai’s plan for Chinese New Year and put some key phrases on the blackboard.
【设计意图】教师借助文本资源引导学生自主完成苏海的电子邮件,课上通过反馈汇报了解孩子本单元总体的学习效果。关键词组在板书上的归类为下文新授节日和写作教学铺垫。
Step 3.Talk about Chinese traditional festivals
1. Talk about the plan for Chinese New Year.
2. Tell some Chinese traditional festivals.
3. Talk about the plan for other Chinese traditional festivals.
【设计意图】通过谈论学生们自己的新年计划,继续贯穿plan这条主线,谈及其他中国传统节日,进一步运用句型'be going to...", 同时谈论对其他节日的计划,丰富学生的文化内涵。
Step 4. Plan for other Chinese festivals
1. Summarize how to write an email.
2. Plan for some Chinese festivals individually through email writing.
3. Enjoy some pictures about foreigners' life at Chinese festivals.
【设计意图】教师进行电子邮件的写作指导,结合本课的主线plan和其他中国的传统节日,学以致用,学会写电子邮件; 图片欣赏,感受老外过中国节日的欢乐,培养向世界传播民族文化的意识。
