能正确理解和运用use...to, should\shouldn’t进行造句;
能用掌握的简单的写作技巧进行写作;
能深刻认识到地球是我们唯一的家,应尽自己最大的力量保护地球。
教学重难点:
正确并熟练运用use...to, should\shouldn’t句型;
运用本单元所学知识进行简单的写作。

Step 1 Free talk
1 Greeting
T:Good morning, class.
Ss:Good morning, Miss Yuan.
T:Sit down,please.
Ss:Thank you.
T:Today we’ll talk about how to protect the Earth. First let’s play a game. See the phrase, read loudly. See the picture, clap your hands.
2 Play a game PPT出示本单元的重要短语,如:save energy,paper bags,cut down too many trees,学生大声读出所看到的短语。
Step 2 Presentation
1Look and think (PPT呈现地球的图片)
T:This is our Earth. It was beautiful many years ago.
(然后PPT呈现水枯竭,树木被伐光等地球被破坏的图片)
T:But now it’s like this. There is no water. There are no trees. There is too much plastic.(引导学生回答)
T: The Earth is crying. So we should protect the Earth. Look, “Environmental guard” needed.

T: You must finish three tasks.

3 复习should\shouldn’t句型

T:Boys and girls, let’s finish Task 2. If you are the “Environmental guard”, what should you do to protect the Earth

T: Please choose one aspect and discuss with your group members.

5 Write a composition
Task3(课件出示Task3的过关条件)
T:Boys and girls, let’s write a composition and make a poster. We can tell people how to protect the Earth.

引导学生注意段前空格和标点符号。

T:Here is a good composition. Who can read it for us (点名读)
(然后利用PPT一些注意点,如:题目,开头不空格,首字母大写等)
学生欣赏一篇范文。
T:Look. This is the title. Look at the capital letter. There is no space. Look at the punctuation mark.
(2)接着利用PPT标出文章的结构,标出文章中的重点句型 use...to..., should\shouldn’t
T:There are three parts. (手指着作文相应部分)
In this part, we can write like this: The Earth is our mother. What other sentences can we use
Ss:The Earth is our home.
T:Yes, very good. The Earth is our home. We live on it every day.(PPT呈现,学生齐读)
In this part, we use the sentence pattern: We use...to..., We should\shouldn’t...(PPT呈现,学生齐读)
In this part, we can write like this: We should love and protect our Earth. What other sentences can we use

T:Let’s protect the Earth together.
T:It’s your turn to write a composition.

D.Try to correct
(1)T:Let’s correct a composition together. Are there any mistakes
点评个别学生作文,老师集中讲解错误点。
(2)T:Four students in a group. Change your compositions and correct.
四人一组互批作文 (PPT呈现批改注意点和评价标准)
E.Try to say
T:Do you find any mistakes in the compositions Please tell us.(学生回答)
