一、教学内容
译林版小学英语六年级上册Unit 7 Protect the Earth（Cartoon time）
二、教学目标
1.知识目标：
（1）能整体感知、理解Cartoon time中的对话内容。
（2）能听得懂、会说、会读词汇：project, protect, poster ,gate等。
2.能力目标：
（1）能够在情境中运用所学词汇和句型进行交流。
（2）能用正确的语音语调，流利地朗读并表演文本对话。
3.情感态度目标：
（1）培养学生积极参与、快乐合作的学习品质。
（2）进一步培养学生的环保意识。
三、教学重难点：
（1）能整体感知、理解Cartoon time中的对话内容。
（2）能用正确的语音语调，流利地朗读并表演文本对话。
（3）能够在情境中运用所学词汇和句型进行交流。
四、教学准备
PPT课件，图片及词条。
五、教学过程
Step1 Warming-up
1. Greetings.
T: Hello! I’m Miss Mao. I’m your new English teacher. Nice to meet you! Do you like English Do you like reading English stories
I have an English story. It’s funny. Do you want to read
T: But first, you should do a project.
2. Let’s do!
Do a project:
(课件出示：project)
(1)T: Can you read this word (learn “project ”)
What does it mean
Well, let’s do the project.
(2)课件出示：
A. Do a puzzle.
小组内成员快速将信封内的碎图片拼成一幅完整的图片。
B. Put the words in order.
小组内成员快速将信封内的单词拼成一句完整的话。
(在音乐声中，小组成员合作完成材料袋中的任务。教师取最先完成的小组作品展示。)
T：（出示 ）What’s this Do you know？
（课件出示： the Earth ）学习单词Earth
T：（出示词条）Can you read
（课件出示： We should protect (保护) the Earth.）学习单词protect
Step2 Presentation
1. Let’s read!

(出示故事插图：Who are they )
(1)Guess: What are they doing (让学生自由猜一猜，说一说。)
（30秒快速读故事，找找答案在哪幅图里。）
(2) Read and underline
a. What project are they doing
b. How do they do
(在此环节，根据学生回答，教师引导学生找出关键词并划出来。适时学习新词poster.)
(3) Read and answer:
大声读故事，划出关键词。在小组内讨论并朗读。

Why does Bobby draw bananas
Why does Billy draw a rubbish bin
c. Where do they put the poster
