the road and it was hurt.

Kate: Yes, I wanted to call the Animal Helpline, but I didn't have my phone
so I had to wait for someone to walk by. Then I used his phone to call

John: OK. No wonder you didn't make it to the competition.
Kate: Yes, I'm so sorry I wasn't there to cheer you on, but I'm happy that
your team won!
